JFury and Playful Gorilla Animal Instincts Show Opens May 5th at Mothership in Philly

In our most vivid dreams we stare into the vastness of why we create and question it all. Unbridled talent being held down with the chains of life, begging for just one chance. When brute strength and shear brawn is broken it leads to one path. A path down the road of pure exhaustion and failure. It is here where we must take all the negativity around us and see life through the eyes of cartoony colored glasses. It is here where we must depend on our spirit animal, our inner Gorilla or Voodoo Bunny. Sometimes all we have left to fight the good fight is pure Animal Instincts.

JFury and Playful Gorilla Proudly Present: “Animal Instincts” featuring new artworks by both artists. A unique combination of toy customisation, illustration, painting and resin casting, these two established artists bring a cartoon style full of clean lines and bright colors. Known for goofy animal character aesthetic, “Animal Instincts” will combine the Voodoo Bunny, Pitbull, Gorilla and Primate artwork of both artists on multiple mediums.

JFury is back at it with his first resin release of 2015. Dead Wabbits stand 4.25 inches tall with super gloss finish. The bunny suit is textured to give contrast to the super smooth skull. Twisted Mouse show opens at PIQ March 14th

PIQ is announcing their Twisted Mouse show in their shop in Grand Central Terminal, literally the most convenient art toy shop and gallery in all of NYC. If you can't find Grand Central on your own, I can't help you.

Twisted Mouse opens March 14 at 4PM and will feature a TON of awesome toy artists offering their interpretations of that most famous of mice, through custom figures, prints and original canvas artwork. Not to be missed!

"Masked" Group Art Show - SubUrban Vinyl

Going on now at SubUrban Vinyl is their latest group art show, titled "Masked". Featuring art pieces from a number of wonderful artists, each piece centers around the mask theme. An appropriate show for being held during Halloween time. Many pieces are actual custom masks, where others have a mask theme. Even though opening night occurred on Saturday, October 25th, all of the remaining pieces can be seen and purchased through SubUrban Vinyl's online store. Sculpt and swap by JFury and Forces of Dorkness

Forces of Dorkness (Scott Kinnebrew) and Myself (JFury) decided to do a sculpt and swap. So we both went at 7" munnys with some super sculpey, then we painted each others sculpted custom and I think the results are great. These two wonderful custom will be available at my webstore  www.furiouscustoms.bigcartel.com. Monday 8/19 at 6 pm pst and a great price of 150.00 each. The first two pics are Scott sculpt and my paint. The Second two pics are my sculpt and Scotts paint.

JFury's Sticky Ricky Custom Munny

JFury's Sticky Ricky was a popular figure in the ToyKick Fresh Batch 3" Dunny blind box series.  So popular that he's been asked to do an 8" Munny version.  And here it is!  Whereas many of the facial features of the smaller figure were hand painted in, JFury was able to sculpt on those features thanks to the larger platform giving an already excellent figure even more depth and detail.

The Dynamite Rex "Raaar!" Exhibition is coming up quick. Opening at The Clutter Gallery on August 10th, the exhibition features a lineup of skilled artists customizing 6" Vinyl Raar toys, as well as lucky contest winners- like Patrick Wong.
