Hello peoples. Welcome to our third sculpture session. We still continue to explore this interactive step by step live feed. Showcasing the collaborative effort between viewers and myself, we create art based on suggestions by viewers every Mon, Tues, Wed. Once the figure is sculpted and painted, we then offer a chance to own this piece, by raffling it off.

Matt Obscure Perez Announces Unity Through Art Show

Matt "Obscure" Perez has curated a show for The Alley Gallery in Pomona, CA and has brought a very diverse list of artists together for it.  The show is titled "Unity Through Art".  The show will consist of all collaborative works.  The artist list includes: Obscure x Juan Muniz, Amber "Spiderface" Tilden x Dorys Dee, J*Ryu x Luke Chueh, Jeremy Cross x DW Frydendall, Big C x angelina nwin, and more. There was no specific theme for the art pieces, but the idea is to show unity within the art community through collaboration.  The show will open on April 20th, 2017 and will feature music, vendors, and a live art jam for all of the featured artists to take the theme of collaboration and unity further.

DCon Booth #818 - Juan Muniz

Juan Muniz brings a lot of new goodies to this year's DCon.  In the vinyl toy front, his new toy Smile, produced by 3DRetro, will debut in its OG colorway featuring the famous Felipe character, in a sitting posture (about 4'' tall) and holding a fake smile sign. This cute and heartbreaking little guy will be also sold in a very limited hand painted AP edition of 10 titled "Lil' Boy Blue", with a baby blue gradient paint work and a fancy glossy finish.  

A run of 20 custom 3'' Felipe Dunny figures was also teased on the artists Facebook page.

Finally, as this seems to be year-of-the-pin, Muniz designed a couple of awesome limited edition enamel pins, including a Felipe Switches pin and a Deadpool one. One of Muniz's pins will participate in the Pin Scavenger Hunt (collect six pins to get an exclusive DCon pin), so make sure to get one!
