Sugar Fueled's Sweet Success

 As the show comes to an end, the acts retire for the season & the vendors begin to pack up what's left of their delicious treats. Every buttered kernel of popcorn, every salted pretzel, every treat imaginable  gets thrown into the trailer...except for one. Far off into the darkness lies a forgotten spindle of the most delicious, hand spun cotton candy this side of the west coast.

Our confectioner for this evening was none other than the one and only Sugar Fueled." A Little Dirt Never Hurt" came to NYCC as a themed piece for PiQ's " Cirque Du PiQ"

  

This sugary maven used this opportunity to really connect to the audience by giving us a little piece of him. The spindle is a retired paintbrush of the artist; one that was used to create other magnificent pieces such as Spun with Love, Your As Welcome As Can Be, Belle and many many more. Adding this piece to your collection is more than adding just another custom; it's completely engulfing you to a simpler time. One reminiscent of the days of old.

WeGo Pop Up Shop at NYCC Booth 780 Tenacious Collective Sat / Sun

We are very excited to announce a special event at our NYCC booth this year:

Saturday and Sunday Booth 780 will be hosting a Mechatro WeGo Pop Up Shop featuring a whole slew of different WeGo figures in both the 1/35th and 1/12th scale sizes!

(NOTE: WeGos will be available for purchase all 4 days of NYCC. To purchase on Thursday or Friday, locate the lighted glass WeGo case in Booth 780 and ask a booth staff member nearby for assistance.)

Many of these WeGos are shipping directly from Japan and are otherwise extremely hard to find in the USA. The red, green and blue WeGos pictured have deco like the Japanese taxis! No other retailer in the USA currently has the above-pictured WeGos.

So, what is a WeGo?

We have to give props to our NYCC boothmate Steven Cartoccio for the super fast sellout on the official Run the Jewels statue that he sculpted for them.

A masterpiece which was immediately recognized by the Run the Jewels fans! Wonder what's next? Ask Steven yourself at our NYCC booth #780 where he will be from October 5-8.

Oooohhhh boy, it's THAT time of the year again!

Once again, we will be quarterbacking the most diverse, eclectic, welcoming and just plain FUN booth at New York Comic Con!

The Tenacious Collective will be located at Booth 780 at New York Comic Con. We are in the back of the same big room that we were previously in the middle of... way back by the back wall and the loading docks.
