HIDDEN FORTRESS Show Curated by GUUMON Opening Sat, 11th March 2017 at Clutter Gallery

Clutter Gallery is busily preparing to open its doors to this weekend's exhibition -  Hidden Fortress -  a group Kaiju show curated by Guumon!

The opening reception will be free to the public and take place on March 11th from 6-9pm, as part of Beacon's Second Saturday art walk.

Participating artists include:

Blobpus, Brent Nolasco, Erik Jacobus, Grizlli Atom, Guumon, Milkboy, Oltretomba, Monsterfoot Creations, Plaseebo, Punk Drunkers, Rampage Toys, The Outer Space Men, Secret Demon Services, Trutek.

Many of the artists will be present at the opening reception, including Guumon, Brent Nolasco, Rampage Toys, The Outer Space Men, & Grizli Atom.

PURCHASING INFORMATION

All pieces will be sold firstly in-person at the opening. Sales will be on a lottery basis, meaning that we will be giving out tickets to anyone interested in purchasing a piece starting at 6:00 pm when doors open. We will begin drawing tickets at 7:30pm and sales will be determined in order of numbers drawn. Tickets are limited to one per person.

Any remaining pieces will be available online at cluttergallery.com on Monday, 13th of March. They will be firstly offered to subscribers of our Preview list, so look out for that email then.

Oh, you didn't think we were going to forget about NEMO's little resin dog he sculpted for Resin Is King Series 3, did you? Brian from Dead Hand Toys cast another batch of them in our official logo blue. More info very soon!

... and as am aside, still continued long-term props to Alex (Playful Gorilla) for the initial logo illustrations that we adopted and ran with. NEMO's sculpt is based on Alex's artwork.  See below:

Let's Print a Book (and support a great cause) - Titch the Snog!

Titch the Snog, who appears to be an adorable cross between a snail and dog, is the brainchild of Elletra Parnell.  The Snog began as a senior project for her animation degree.

A Little Snog is a 29 page rhyming book, perfect for parents to read with their little ones as well as children learning to read on their own. The words are short and printed in a large format, save for a few fun "grown-up" words peppered through the story, because let's be frank, when you were six years old and learned that one, special, big grown-up word, you wanted to use it all the time, right?

The book itself is dedicated to Parnell's nephew Weston, who was on the autism spectrum.  A portion of the Kickstarter funds will be donated to the Autism Spectrum Disorder Foundation to fund research and a cure.
