Kickstarter - CALLIOPE: Stop Motion Animated Short Film by Circus Posterus

Brandt Peters and Kathie Olivas recently launched a Kickstarter, via Circus Posterus, to fund the creation of a stop motion animated short film, CALLIOPE. The Kickstarter page is always better at explaining the goal of the campaign, so check out the video and the CALLIOPE Kickstarter page to learn more about the campaign. With reward tiers starting at $5, there is definitely a tier for everyone. Several tiers also include art from Kathie Olivas and/or Brandt Peters, so be sure to check out all of the tiers and pledge sooner than later. As with all Kickstarter Campaigns, funds are not taken until after a successful campaign. Circus Posterus and company are hoping to raise at least $110K to fund the creation of this project, with the campaign ending on November 28th, 2015.

Irresponsibility - the Mr. Toast Card Game by Dan "Mr. Toast" Goodsell

Mr. Toast, Dan Goodsell, recently launched an Indiegogo to fund the creation of "Irresponsibility the Mr Toast Card Game". For the last 6 months or so, Mr. Toast has been working on creating the Mr. Toast Card Game. With Table Top games becoming more and more popular, thanks to Kickstarter, Hasbro Gaming Lab actually launched a contest to find the "Next Great Game". Mr. Toast decided to enter his game and out of over 500 entries, the Mr. Toast Card Game was chosen as one of the 5 finalist. To collaboration with Hasbro Gaming Lab, Indiegogo became the crowdfunding platform which will play a role in deciding the winner of the contest. The 5 Indiegogo campaigns will end on December 1, while the Grand Prize winner will be chosen by Hasbro on December 3rd. The Grand Prize Winner will be awarded $10k and a trip to Hasbro HQ to help make the party game become more of a reality. For all those who read this, take some time to read Mr. Toast's Indiegogo campaign and make a pledge to the campaign. If funds are low, why not just spread the news and help get the campaign in front of as many eyes as possible. With several reward tiers, there is something for everyone, in addition to copies of the card game. Good luck to Mr. Toast and hopefully people from all around the world will be playing the Mr. Toast Card Game in the near future.

Autumn Goodies from Taylored Curiosities

Taylored Curiosities has just released three new products for the Autumn season. The first release are these adorable resin tea bunnies. These Tea Bunnies are of the pumpkin chai variety (do not eat them, they are not food) and are often known as the least 'bunny-like' bunnies of the world, due to their smaller ears and lack of fluffy tail. But they have great personalities and don't forget their freckly noses and cute little bums!

The single bunnies measure 1.5" tall and each are signed and dated and available for £10.00. Each one nestles inside it's own, hand sewn tea bag (completed with a pumpkin chai tea tag). They are then placed in clear gift bags and then brown gift bags, topped off with a tea bunny sticker. The perfect gift wrap, ready to give to the tea bunny in your life.

The Matryoshka sets measure includes three different sized tea bunnies, the big one (1.5" tall), the medium (2.5 cm tall) and the small (1.5 cm tall) and is available for £16.00. Each are signed and dated and nestle together in their tea bag as a famliy.

The second release from Taylored Curiosities are these tea bunnies notebooks.

These are A6 notebooks made from recycled paper with the Halloween Tea Bunnies illustrated pattern and either squared, lined, dotted or plain pages inside. Each note/sketchbook is accompanied by a matching 45mm Halloween Tea Bunny sticker. On the inside cover you have a place to write your name and a list of things you could fill your book with (I thought it would be fun to offer some suggestions). These are available for £4.00 a piece or £12.00 for a set of all four on the Taylored Curiosities website.

The last item are these Tea Bunny Halloween sets with a small run of very special Tea Bunnies. Each set has a hand sculpted, cast and painted pumpkin (you'll notice how very Taylored it looks) and on top of these sits a teeny, hand painted, Pumpkin Chai Tea Bunny (which is compatible with construction brands like Lego).

The set also includes an A6 Halloween Tea Bunny notebook (with plain pages) and a Halloween Tea Bunny sticker. These are limited to only 5 sets (signed, dated and numbered). The pumpkins measure 1.5" and the teeny bunnies are 0.75" tall and are packed in a clear bag and stripy gift bag, with the Tea Bunny in a teeny organza bag too. These are available for £20.00 a set on the Taylored Curiosities website.

Custom Coarse False Friends Set by Jon-Paul Kaiser

Jon-Paul Kaiser always does amazing work when customizing any Coarse Toys figures. Jon-Paul's latest completed commission is no different. A Coarse Toys False Friends Noop and Paw set, which is pretty rare to find now-a-days, was offered up as custom fodder by a private client, for Jon-Paul to tackle. Created as a Superhero and Archenemy duo, Paw was created as the superhero, while Noop became the Archenemy(possibly a former Protege). As with many JPK customs, mainly paint was applied, to create shadows and depth for each figure in the set. Definitely a very nice piece for a lucky collector. As always, all the amazing pictures were captured by Justin Allfree. For those on the fence about getting a commission from JPK, might want to get on the list sooner than later.

October Release! PIDA & OLGOS - Wood Toys x Pepe Hiller

Pepe Hiller has two new releases for October. The curly lady PIDA is a one of a kind piece that he worked on over quite a while this summer. Then he has a small series of OLGOS waiting to travel around the globe to graze at your local green spot. They come in pairs so you get two figures with one catch here.

Both designs will be available trough his store as October 20, 2015 at 2:)) CEST.

PIDA - 4.5 inch Wood Toy by Pepe Hiller
(One of a kind piece)

"PIDA is a curly little lady. She lives in the botanical garden where she keeps an eye to the frogs. She learned from them to jump from water lily leaf to another and her guilty pleasure is to eat duckweed sprouts."

PIDA is carved out of one piece of sapele wood and was sanded to a smooth finish in countless hours. The figure has a high gloss coat and the piece comes signed & numbered by the artist (embossed).

OLGOS - 3 inch & 2 inch Wood Toys
(Limited Edition of 12 pairs)

"OLGOS are sturdy little chaps, they travel huge distances over snowy mountains and endless tundras to find a nice little spot where they can rest and eat fresh grass. And they are surprisingly fast... well in their eyes, we barely see them moving."

The OLGOS are handcrafted out of swiss spruce. These figures have a high gloss finish and each piece is signed and numbered by the artist (embossed).

Recent Works from Nerviswr3k

Nerviswr3k always finds time to keep busy creating new sculpted pieces. Here are some of his latest works, some for sale, others are sold out, while the rest can be purchased by contacting Nerviswr3k directly. The first piece, Downloadable Nightmares, measures around 3.5"x7.5"x8.5" and is heavy in details and sculpted pieces. Inspired by Nerviswr3k's fascination with alien abduction and how technology is controlling the masses. Pricing and purchase inquiries can be handled by directly contacting Nerviswr3k.

Next up are the Extractor Drones, created in a few different colors: green, purple, blue and brown. Priced at $200 each, these 5"x3.5" original creations are standard issue drone extractors, sent to gather intel and do daily extractions for observation. Each were created using Epoxy resin, polymer clay, wire, acrylic paints and found computer parts. These are typically available through Nerviswr3k's Storenvy shop.
The custom munny is titled Sadsap. It features a sculpted munny head with Nerviswr3k's monster used as a cap. This character is part of Nerviswr3k's ongoing study. A few of the sadsap headsculpts are available for $50 through Nerviswr3k's online store, each featuring a different style cap.
Mechilla Tequila is a custom Muttpop Tequila figure, which features a heavy mechanized design. One of Nerviswr3k's proudest designs, he tried to create a mechanical looking figure, while also having an organic feel. Trying to stay true to the original aesthetic of the figure, the finished product is undeniably a custom Muttpop Tequila figure, which just so happens to have a ton of awesome work applied. This piece is not for sale.
The Mexican Water Dragon is a custom 8" Kidrobot Dunny that was completed as a commissioned piece. Just like all of Nerviswr3k's pieces, this custom was created using Epoxy Resin, wire, found objects and acrylic paints. Anyone wanting a commission from Nerviswr3k should get in contact with him and set one up.
The last piece is a Niberian Peace Pipe (water pipe...), which was created for a client in Arizona. Why not partake in the greens, using an awesome custom piece.
