Brandt Peters and Kathie Olivas recently launched a Kickstarter, via Circus Posterus, to fund the creation of a stop motion animated short film, CALLIOPE. The Kickstarter page is always better at explaining the goal of the campaign, so check out the video and the CALLIOPE Kickstarter page to learn more about the campaign. With reward tiers starting at $5, there is definitely a tier for everyone. Several tiers also include art from Kathie Olivas and/or Brandt Peters, so be sure to check out all of the tiers and pledge sooner than later. As with all Kickstarter Campaigns, funds are not taken until after a successful campaign. Circus Posterus and company are hoping to raise at least $110K to fund the creation of this project, with the campaign ending on November 28th, 2015.
Take time to listen/watch the campaign video put together by Circus Posterus.

What are your plans on Sunday? Maybe they'll include joining a fun creative activity cooked up by Brandt Peters & Circus Posterus.
The past few Sundays, Brandt has issued a #CreaturesOfTheSundayNight drawing theme over Instagram. The guidelines are simple; interpret the theme on the day it is given, post a photo to your Instagram and tag #CreaturesOfTheSundayNight

It's not a contest, or a competition, but there is a valuable prize on offer- creative feedback, direction, critique, tips & suggestions from Brandt and the creative community on The Sideshow Circus Posterus forum.
BP's delivering valuable knowledge based on experience as a professional independent artist. The cost of admission is $0, just participate in the drawings & forum discussion here. If growing what you do creatively is important to you, you'll be glad you did.
Check out #CreaturesOfTheSundayNight over Instagram and join the discussion on CircusPosterus forum.

In addition to Chris Ryniak's hand cast and hand painted Frostbite Fuzzlethumps, Chris will be bringing along some small robins egg blue figures called Bugbites to Designer Con 2013,
These fun little minis are going to be bagged with a header card and will cost $16. Limited to only 50 pieces, these little guys are going to go great with Amanda Louise Spayd's mini, Pipsqueak.
Only available at the Circus Posterus booth, #400 at DCon, these minis should be spoken for rather quickly. Circus Posterus will be doing sales of most, if not all available items, via the ticket method early in the morning each day. So, don't forget to make a plan, get your tickets for DCon ahead of time and arrive early to line up prior to doors opening.

Circus Posterus is going to have a lot of blue in their booth this year. Amanda Louise Spayd is joining the Circus Posterus booth with a release of her "robins egg blue" Pipsqueak.
Limited to 50 pieces, each piece is hand cast and painted by Amanda. They measure in at 2 3/8" and will retail for $16 each. Be sure to stop by Circus Posterus early, at booth #400, grab the correct purchase tickets. During they day, why not have a chat with Amanda, who will be on hand along with all the Circus Posterus artists.

Designer Con goodies keep showing up. Chris Ryniak is bringing a small set of 10 Frostbite Fuzzlethumps to Designer Con.

These hand painted little guys are going to be available only at the Circus Posterus booth at DCon, for $175 a piece. With doors opening at 9am, these pieces are likely going to be sold via a first come, first served ticket system. Chris did hint that future editions might be made available, but there is never any guarantee.
So, make a plan, get your tickets for DCon ahead of time and arrive early to line up prior to doors opening.

Circus Posterus has joined the Kickstarter revolution to fund the creation of Muse 1, a 140 page limited edition sketchbook of works by Brandt Peters. This particular sketchbook will focus entirely on Brandt Peters' process, vision and ideas. The project started earlier today, is already picking up steam and will run for 30 days, ending on July 3rd. Various rewards include: a PDF version of the final sketchbook for a $5 pledge; packages which include signed hard copies of the final book for pledges starting at $24; even some custom Skelves which vary in size depending on the pledge.
With more than 79% of the overall funding goal already reached, this project looks like it will be fully funded in a matter of days, if not hours. Whether or not you are a person who agrees with Kickstarter as a funding
platform, this project by Circus Posterus (along with others) is great
for the Art Toy world. So, be sure to check out all the available rewards and if possible, make a pledge. Keep in mind that money is only exchanged after the funding time has expired and only if the project is fully funded.
