Skullhead Samurai by Huck Gee x Jon-Paul Kaiser

Available now for pre-order through Pobber Toys is a Skullhead Samurai 9" figure produced by Pobber and designed by Huck Gee and Jon-Paul Kaiser, . This figure has been in the making for some time now and after a successful initial release at STGCC 2016, collectors around the world can place an order for one or more of these bad boys. Priced at $100 plus shipping, each figure features 5 points of articulation and a removable katana. This looks to be another nice figure for future customizing, given it's nice size.  These figures are planned to ship during the fourth quarter of 2016. Conan the Barbarian Custom by Jon-Paul Kaiser

Jon-Paul Kaiser wasted no time customizing one of Kidrobot's Labbit the Barbarian figure. As a fan of Frank Frazetta's art, as well as the movie Conan The Barbarian, Jon-Paul saw the original figure and immediately decided that he had to leave his mark on this wonderful base. Jon-Paul was able to complete this custom in time for the event Northern Craft in Leeds on October 15th. For those in the UK, be sure to head on down to the Northern Monk Brewery, where the Northern Craft Fair will be featuring 30+ stalls of the finest art and crafts from around the world, which includes Jon-Paul Kaiser. This should be a great event, can't really go wrong with beer, food and art.

The Miner figure by Jon-Paul Kaiser

Continuing with his Workers Project series, Jon-Paul Kaiser has released the next figure: The Miner. Following the previously released Woodsman and Blacksmith figure, The Miner is a 4" resin figure hand painted and originally created by Jon-Paul, while castings are being done by Evan Morgan. The Miner figure will only be available during the 24 hour pre-order, which is open as of this posting. Running until 12pm BST(GMT+1) Saturday, July 2nd, interested collectors should head on over to Jon-Paul's store and make a purchase. Priced at £150 each, Jon-Paul has also made it a little easier on the wallet by spacing out the total payment with a deposit option of £50, with the remaining due when the figures are ready to ship. Ronin Skullhead Blank by Jon-Paul Kaiser

Finding it's way to it's rightful owner recently is one of Jon-Paul Kaiser's latest commissioned pieces, this time using a Huck Gee Blank figure. Ronin Blank is a handpainted custom blank showing a steadfast samurai adhering to his life as a loyal servant. Complete with a steal Katana, Jon-Paul utilized his minimalistic color approach to bring life to this lonely Ronin. Wonderful photos were captured by photographer Justin Allfree. With this private commission delivered, it's only a matter of time until Jon-Paul's next creation makes an appearance. It will be interesting to see if JPK gets a crack at the Clear version of the Blank Skullhead. Be sure to follow Jon-Paul on social media sites to stay up to date with all of JPK's latest creations.

Dia De Los Muertos Custom Be@rbrick 400% by Jon-Paul Kaiser

Jon-Paul Kaiser recently delivered a 400% Be@rbrick custom  with a Dia De Los Muertos theme. Depicting the Catrina character (La Calavera Catrina), the custom comes complete with a distressed wedding dress and heavily tattooed arms. A lot of great detail went into this amazing piece. The Woodsman by Jon-Paul Kaiser

Jon-Paul Kaiser has a little obsession with The Woodsman character, which made a successful appearance as a print during the New Year. Moving forward with the character, Jon-Paul developed an original sculpt and will be releasing a timed release series of these 4" resin figures. Evan Morgan has been tasked to help cast The Woodsman, while each will be hand-painted by Jon-Paul. Each figure will come boxed, signed and numbered. Pre-order for The Woodsman opens up at 12PM GMT and will be open for only 24 hours. The Woodsman is priced at ­£150 and two payment options will be available: full payment of £150(~$215USD) or a deposit of £50(~$72USD), with the remaining balance due after two weeks. Jon-Paul also mentioned that there will be a second, rarer colorway available during the 24 hour window, The Gingham, which will be limited in number. Sturnbrau and Sketchup Custom Dunny Set by Jon-Paul Kaiser

With Designer Con 2015 only a few weeks away, Jon-Paul Kaiser is still delivering commissioned pieces, while also prepping to make his trip over to California for DCON. Jon-Paul's latest custom set is a nautical themed custom Sturnbrau and Sketchup Dunny set. This older Captain Sturnbrau continues to gather more tattoos and new emblem on his hat, signs of the distances traveled in his ship, the Whispering Corsair. A nice companion piece to Captain Sturnbrau is the Sketchup Dunny, which shows a battle between a sperm whale and a giant Kraken-like squid. With the epic fight taking place within the confines of an old grog bottle, the ship that once sailed the seas lay sunken on the bed of the sea floor. Photos were taken by Justin Allfree, with more photos showing up on Jon-Paul Kaiser's social media pages. This set makes a nice pair and is a nice primer for those who are going to be attending DCon 2015. Jon-Paul is sure to bring along a lot of goodies with him. Custom Coarse False Friends Set by Jon-Paul Kaiser

Jon-Paul Kaiser always does amazing work when customizing any Coarse Toys figures. Jon-Paul's latest completed commission is no different. A Coarse Toys False Friends Noop and Paw set, which is pretty rare to find now-a-days, was offered up as custom fodder by a private client, for Jon-Paul to tackle. Created as a Superhero and Archenemy duo, Paw was created as the superhero, while Noop became the Archenemy(possibly a former Protege). As with many JPK customs, mainly paint was applied, to create shadows and depth for each figure in the set. Definitely a very nice piece for a lucky collector. As always, all the amazing pictures were captured by Justin Allfree. For those on the fence about getting a commission from JPK, might want to get on the list sooner than later.

PAW! Custom by Jon-Paul Kaiser

Jon-Paul Kaiser recently delivered a private commission, to a well known UK Toy Vendor. Left to his own devices, Jon-Paul was only given one request, that if he were to create tattoos, that the tattoos would tell a story of some kind. Jon-Paul took that request and let the story unfold on one of the most iconic art toys, the Coarse PAW! figure. The excellent photography was taken by Justin Allfree and more images can be found through Jon-Paul Kaiser's Facebook or Instagram pages. Awesome work as always.

ICYMI: Custom Squadt by Jon-Paul Kaiser

ICYMI, Jon-Paul Kaiser recently delivered a custom GID Chipp Squadt figure to it's new home. With the client only requesting a Bulldog face, the rest of the piece was left up to the imagination of Jon-Paul Kaiser. Jon-Paul created a Persian style motif, while also adding his own stylized glyphs, which provided more arcane strangeness. The Squadt mask covers up the Bulldog face, leaving the tattooed body visible. Overall, this is another wonderful creation. Photos were taken by Justin Allfree, who was really able to capture the GID nature of the piece.

Star Wars/Samurai Themed Custom Bambaboss by Jon-Paul Kaiser

Jon-Paul Kaiser creates completely creative customs, utilizing clean cut lines, accenting all available areas acutely. Forced alliteration aside, Jon-Paul's latest custom is a Star Wars/Samurai themed custom 3A 1/12 scale Bambaboss. Featuring a Boba Fett style mask, the man behind the mask is revealed to be Vader. Not often seen in customs, Jon-Paul and the customer settled on the theme to have the Vader face be revealed when removing the Boba mask. Definitely a uniquely awesome custom piece. Photos were taken by Justin Allfree, as with all of Jon-Paul's custom work. Also, Jon-Paul Kaiser recently setup a Patreon account to help fund his ability to travel to more conventions, so he could meet more fans. With a few monthly options to show support, the $45/month tier grants the Patron a custom dunny every quarter(4 custom dunnys a year for those who are Patrons for 12 months). Jon-Paul Kaiser Latest Store releases

In between completing commissions and other projects, Jon-Paul Kaiser has found time to create some pieces to throw up in his online store. Jon-Paul has created 2 pieces that will be released on July 31, 1600 BST(11AM EST). "Heartbreak" is a custom Fatima figure, which was designed by Sam Flores. Jon-Paul left the figure intact, opting to cover the Fatima dress in imagery representing Heartbreak and hopelessness. This 8" custom is priced at £400.

The second release is called "Kitsune Tattoo Foot", which is a custom created using a 3AA 1:1 scale severed foot. This 8" GID foot features a Japanese Kitsune Tattoo and is also priced at £400. Both customs will be available through Jon-Paul Kaiser's online store on Friday at 1600 BST.
