Our final reveal of the next 4 pieces in the Resin Is King Series 4 lineup! Here we have one of the 4 colorways of the Forces of Dorkness piece, one example of the Renone skull, and the standard colorway of the TobyArt Buffalo Wings figure.
Last image is of the Rocky figure designed by Abe Lincoln Jr (our special guest artist). Rocky is the debut figure in Abe's upcoming Satanikids series, which will make a bigger debut on its own later on this year! For now, we have the bright yellow Rocky in our RIKS4 series! Rocky was sculpted by NEMO and cast in resin by Jacob JAMS for the debut appearance.
Resin Is King Series 4 is 110 blind boxed resin figures, each slightly under 3 inches. Each BB is $30 and the debut will be at our booth #229 at Five Points 2017, May 20th. There will be Golden Tickets in the boxes and assorted goodies on hand, plus many chases and unique color variants.
We will also continue our in-booth practice of swapping: if you fancy one of our display figures, you can always buy a blind box and swap out the figure you pull for one of the figures we are using as displays.

"That thing in the pool from that golf movie released in 1980"
If
you're a golfer, you've seen it. If you like quality comedy, you've
seen it. If you are an actual human, you've seen it... if you haven't
seen it, move along.
So there's this movie, and
in this movie there is this scene when everyone gets a break and they
spend a nice relaxing afternoon at the pool. During this scene,
teenagers being teenagers, one opens a candy bar, and another asks for a
bite, and when the first says no, into the pool doth the second one
toss said candy bar. Well, this particular brand of candy bar has a
strong resemblance to something we all create, and unfortunately some
tend to leave in pools, creating the comedic chaos that leads to an
emptying of the pool, and revelation that it is not a doody and actually
a candy bar that has a name close to a famous baseball player.
This
is a tribute to the classic movie "Caddyshack", one of those films that
can be watched over and over, lines can be quoted, laughs can be had,
and now you can own the "unofficial" star of the film.
2
versions of this release are available, one as the name of the candy
bar, and one as "doody" so your choice is the before, or the after.
Each version is limited to 18 pieces (golf has 18 holes...get it?) for
this release.
Each package come with an inedible resin cast of said candy bar and custom card art and packaging from The Forces of Dorkness.
This is the perfect gift for that special someone who appreciates an amazing film.
Each
package is 9" h x 5.25" wide x 1.5" deep and ships with a couple of
stickers as well to show how much you love The Forces of Dorkness
Shipping in the US is $3.99 via USPS.
Note: This is not a fucking toy. It is also not edible, and more so it is only for ages 18 and up.
The figure is available in the FoD store: http://forcesofdorkness. storenvy.com

Forces of Dorkness has two new releases, well two new old release with new packaging.
First off is Buddha Fett, the classic makes another return. This time around it's high gloss sparkle UV reactant colors and GID Jades. 13 pieces in total bagged (zipper on the bottom) with brand new header art. Each Buddha Fett comes with a very special sticker (one of 2 possible) that is made up of posts from a bootlegger that decided to throw some weak shade years ago when the original release of mine came out. Each one is $25 dollar and shipping is $3.95 in the US
Secondly is Bart2-D2, everyone's favorite robot boy from Springfield, Tatooine. This round is a direct result of a leak at the Power Plant. Just like Buddha Fett, Bart2-D2 comes in Sparkle UV or GID Jades. Originally released at NYCC bagged with a Header Card, this time he comes in a Clamshell with brand new art. Limited to 10 pieces. $19.95 each and shipping is $3.95 in the US.
Both releases will also ship with one the new Forces of Dorkness stickers and come from deep in the heart of Texas. Available in Forces of Dorkness' store.

"That fucking nobody is John Wick." said Viggo Tarasov as he told the story about John killing 3 men in a bar with a pencil in John Wick and *spoiler alert*...in John Wick Chapter 2 you get to see him kill some bad guys with one. (Bad Guy is subjective in this case, who really is the bad guy you may ask yourself, me...I consider anyone trying to kill me the bad guy, and I bet John does too).
This is a tribute to an amazing action-movie franchise. It's a real pencil, coated is resin for durability, and custom painted to look like it has entered someone's skull and then been retracted. Each one is hand made so there is some variation between each so no two are alike. Call it a toy, call it a collector's item, call it a weapon, just don't call John and expect him to say anything on the phone or to use more that 3 words as a response in a conversation.
Each one is a standard sized No. 2 pencil in a custom bloodied bag (note: It's paint and not actual blood becuase that would be gross and probably smell after a while) with a custom designed header card by The Forces of Dorkness.
$16.95 gets you one and being the nice guy he is Scott is also including shipping in the US. The release is limited to 20 pieces, and to make one part of your collection all you have to do is go to their online store.

Well folks, it's that time of the year where everything is new and
fresh. Where we look optimistically towards the future and the
possibilities the new year will bring...F&%K all that bulls&%t.
As The Forces of Dorkness celebrates another trip around that burning orb we call a sun (a.k.a. his birthday) he decided to dig in to the archives and fill up the store with some pieces from the past. Maybe you didn't get a chance to grab that special item because you weren't at (insert event here like D*con, or NYCC, or any of the group shows he's been apart of) well now's your chance. There's resin, screen prints, paintings, and other assorted goodies like "Buddha Fett", "Our Lady of Immaculate Rebellion", "Mr Snuffleupadon" and "Chronic Master Vader". They are all there and some are the last ones left, some are APs that have just been in a drawer, some I forgot I even had.
2017 for is already starting off to be a busy year, and now's your chance and possibility the last one to grab some of these classics before I start dropping the new hotness in the months to come.

As we prep this series for the big debut, we thought we'd FINALLY get you the full-on reveal of the 10 pieces in this blind box series!
Many of the artists cast their pieces in different colors, and finished with different paint jobs, so the pieces you see above may actually turn up in different color variants! Jacob JAMS and Magitarius, for example, each submitted 10 unique one of a kind pieces. NEMO's dogs are all similar but uniquely painted. Matt (Angry Artist) made pieces in 2 main colors (bronze and white) with a one-off clear chase figure with an LED inside! Scott (FOD) has a main colorway (pictured) and 2 other chase colors. Penny (Taylored Curiosities) has a main color (pictured) and a silver chase. Dead Hand Toys has 3 color variants, with the one pictured the most common and the other 2 as chases.
To recap this series: it contains 100 blind boxes. All pieces fit into 3" tall boxes. We have 10 artists who each submitted 10 pieces. Price of a blind box is $30. Each BB comes with a resin figure, an insert card so you can figure out what piece you got, and a Resin Is King sticker. Randomly placed will be a number of Golden Tickets which will get you FREE stuff like resin figures from various artists in the series, discounts in our shops, etc.
The big release of Resin Is King Series 3 will be at the opening of NYCC on October 6 at the Javits Center in NYC. Come to Booth 309 in the center of the Block to say hello and pick up your BBs. We will have a few opened BBs on hand so customers can buy a BB and swap for one of the opened pieces we have in our case. Some of the artists in the series will be on hand or nearby.
We are EXTREMELY proud of this superb series. All the artists brought their A games and designed and cast gorgeous miniature sculptures. We are proud to support and associate with all the resin artists involved! Looking forward to seeing everyone once again at NYCC.
