David Stevenson for "The Grimm Show" - custom Munny's

by

These are three new pieces from David Stevenson for "The Grimm Show" at The Dream Factory in Frankfurt, Germany running October 1-31. The first piece is a 7" Munny entitled "Twisted Red" and it is his take on an evil, red riding hood, who has victimized a lonely wolf for her dark pleasures.
This piece will be available for  200 Euro (£150).

The second and third pieces are a pair or 4" mini munnys and they are his take on a modern day, glutinous Hansel & Gretel, who prove that the witch was the real victim, having eaten her and destroying her home. This will be available for 70 euro each (£50) or as a pair for 130 euro (£100).

Terminator Custom Munny by Jon-Paul Kaiser

by
Cyberdyne Systems T-800, Model 101, is Jon-Paul Kaiser's latest custom. Most people know the Model 101 as the Terminator, played by Arnold Schwarzenegger. Jon-Paul was commissioned to recreate the iconic character and he actually spent quite a bit of time getting it perfect. Since Arnold has such a distinctive look, Jon-Paul had some trouble capturing Arnold's likeness, going through a lot of trial and error. Jon-Paul even sanded and resprayed a few times to get the custom right. The end result is an amazing representation of the Terminator. Photos were taken by photographer Justin Allfree, Jon-Paul's go to photog.

Megaman NT Warrior by Figment Creations

by

Artist Donald Whitaker, of Figment Creations, recently completed a Megaman NT Warrior custom. Donald made the figure using a Kidrobot Munny, polymer clay and acrylic paints. Finished off with a gloss chip resistant clear, the overall look might have benefited from a matte finish instead. A nice completed custom either way, the figure comes with custom GID package box. Donald has priced this piece at $150 plus shipping and is available now from Figment Creations online store.

Custom Lion 8" Munny by Jon-Paul Kaiser

by

Jon-Paul Kaiser's latest creation is a simple, yet exquisite, Lion as King Custom 8" Munny. Adorned in his Middle Age armor and the crown his ancestors wore, the Lion surveys his kingdom and subjects with his regal gaze. Jon-Paul is definitely a master of creating depth and texture with very little color. Photography was done by Justin Allfree.

Alien Chestburster Custom Munny by Jon-Paul Kaiser

by
For those who've watched Alien (1979), one of the most iconic scenes is the Chestburster (or Chestbuster) scene, when the implanted alien in Kane, played by John Hurt, decides to make an appearance during dinner. The dramatic scene of the alien bursting through Kane's chest is one that's been recreated and even re-imagined over the years. Jon-Paul Kaiser recreated the iconic scene using a 5 inch mini Munny for Kane and what looks to be the ear of a Dunny for the Chestburster. Jon-Paul states: "I wanted to capture that moment when everything is in a state of flux; Kane is on the cusp of death, he alien is at last born but not yet fled and the crew have yet to face it once it grows...". The Munny arms have been repositioned to present Kane splayed out on the table, with the Alien bursting out of the chest(using what looks to be like a Dunny ear). Red "blood" is expertly painted to provide some great contrast to the black and white of the figure and table. Another great custom by Jon-Paul Kaiser

Infinite Rabbit's custom madness!

by
Exremely love the use of sculpt and colors of this artist. He simply brings you in a dreamworld with these customs!

Here's an update with some of the customs that I've been working at the end of 2013 and early 2014. Some of them are available in my online store (http://infiniterabbits.storenvy.com/) A few others are currently at Espionage Gallery, in the "Around the World in 80 Toys" show (http://espionage-gallery.com/exhibition/espionage-gallery-presents-around-the-world-in-80-toys/)

The custom Foomi uses a resin mask designed for Vinyl Thoughts by Forces of Dorkness. (http://www.storenvy.com/products/2873601-diy-vinyl-thoughts-nation-mask-1) The "broken" Blue Mask Munny borrows his design, but was sculpted by me.

I've also (finally!) started working on a website: http://www.infiniterabbits.com/ More updates to come, though I'm pretty busy with customs and art at the moment!

"Dr. Squidclops" - Mini Mugg & "Kid Triton" - Kidrobot 'Bot
