Sneak Peek at Rainbow Roll from Camilla d'Errico x Toyqube

A new sneak peek of Camilla d'Errico's upcoming toy collaboration with Toyqube has surfaced! Camilla's most recent designer toy release, as part of J*Ryu x Kidrobot's Arcane Divination series, was a little bit of a darker tone overall. So seeing this cute little sushi getting set for 2018's table is a nice contrast. This little morsel is based on a painting by the same title, Rainbow Roll.

And looks to have been recently previewed as a prototype at December 2017's Hong Kong Toy Con.

With a 2018 projected release date for these cuties getting served up, it'll be the first time I'm looking forward to some foodpics!

Tiger Edition Vinyl Toy by Grimsheep

Many collectors in the toy world have little to no idea the frustrations and time it takes to have a vinyl toy produced. 5 years ago, artist Grimsheep (aka Owen Dewitt), sought out to create a vinyl toy based on his own design. Well, after much waiting and anticipation, Grimsheep and Happy Panda Toys have released the Grimsheep Tiger Edition vinyl toy. At 6" tall, this piece features interchangeable heads and 2 pairs of weapons. This edition features a Yellow Gi body and comes with both a Sheep head and Tiger Head. With more editions expected to be released in the future, different looks will be able to be achieved by swapping different heads with bodies. With the Grimsheep Tiger edition limited to 100 pieces, it's likely that future editions will have a similar number produced. With a price of only $50 plus shipping, this is a great piece to add to any collection. Be sure to check out Happy Panda Toys to pick up a Grimsheep Tiger.

Announcing the Tenacious Toys® My Rewards Program

We are very excited to announce the new Tenacious Toys® My Rewards Program! This is a program which AUTOMATICALLY assigns rewards points to you for each purchase you make at Tenacious Toys. Redeem your points for discounts on purchases of ANY item!

Basically this system is set up to give to 10% back on every purchase. Spend $100, get points worth $10. Spend $500, get points worth $50.

Here's how it works:

1. Once your order has shipped, your My Rewards Points will be redeemable the next day. You will know your order has shipped when you receive an email from us with tracking info. It is the act of us marking your item shipped (by adding the tracking number to your order and marking the order "Complete") that triggers the system to add the points to your account.

2. To view your My Rewards points, simply click on MyRewards in the My Account section or Rewards in the nav menu.

3. Enter the total amount (in points) you'd like to redeem (10 My Rewards points = $1). Minimum redemption is 100 points (worth $10).

4. You're now ready to save on your next purchase. Upon placing your order, your redeemed My Rewards points will automatically be deducted from the total purchase amount. You do not need to redeem all of your points at once, but you do need to redeem a minimum of 100 points (which is a $10 discount off your next order).

The best part is, this program was activated in early 2014. I wanted to test it out and make sure it was working right before I made the announcement. So, if you've completed a purchase in 2014 (and it was an in-stock item that has already shipped to you) go ahead and log into our site to check how many points you have accrued!

How to locate your My Rewards points balance:
Log in to Tenacious Toys. Click on My Account (if you're not already there). At the bottom of the My Account dashboard is the link to the My Rewards Program page.

Ralf - A New Greg "Craola" Simkins 6" Vinyl Toy

Greg "Craola" Simkins is teaming up with the folks over at 3DRetro to bring Ralf, the White Knight, to vinyl life. Ralf is the main character in Craola's future stop motion animation, which he and C4toons is currently running a Kickstarter for, in order to raise the base funding for the project. Craola is not new to the vinyl toy world, with his work appearing on several production toys, including a line of his own characters. From the very beginning of the Kickstarter launch and even with the teaser pics posted by Craola, collectors have been hoping for the chance at the possibility of a vinyl toy of one or more characters set to appear in the Mook(term coined for this project to mean Movie and accompanying book). It appears that Ralf(and hopefully more characters) is going to be a vinyl toy which everyone will be able to have and adore in the future. Even as a rough concept, the implications of what the final product will look like is fantastic. This could be the first in a line of characters from the future "I'm Scared" movie.

Creating something like Ralf the vinyl toy is a huge undertaking, especially from a drawn concept, which was created for a project that is still in it's early stages. For many, the assumption is that the process to create a toy from concept to final product is something simple and the prices should reflect that. What many people should understand, is that in order to make most toys viable and affordable, multiple colorways is something that will always be discussed. Having a single colorway edition of 1200 for any vinyl toy is something that is not always the best option, especially when it comes to designer toys and the small niche it represents in the grand scheme of all things considered art and toys.

With all that said, the "I'm Scared" Kickstarter is going to be the only way for collectors to score the exclusive Kickstarter colorway. The "Rancid Ralf" pledge level has 100 available rewards with a pledge level set at $65 or more(which includes shipping within the US). The "Booogey Monstah" pledge level of $100, offers both the Vinyl Toy Ralf and the Mook, with only 50 available rewards. Both levels combined means that the Kickstarter edition of Ralf is currently set at 150 units. This Kickstarter opportunity is a great way for collectors to score what should be a rare piece, while also saving a bit of money and supporting a wonderful project. As of this blog post, only 11 days remain and the project is only at 69% funded of the total funding goal of $65,000. Hopefully, more people will pledge in the next few days, snagging up these newly added rewards.

If you haven't done so already, please make a pledge or just spread the word to everyone you know. Spreading the word is just as good as pledging. Let's all make "I'm Scared" the movie happen!

Frank Kozik is DEAD

So...Frank isn't really dead but this big ass (13") vinyl bust gives us a good idea of what that might look like. Designed by Kevin Gosselin, blessed by Kozik himself, this is a must for collectors of giant busts of Frank Kozik (which should be everyone).

In addition to the busts themselves, you can also get some boss stickers and the two colors available through the Kickstarter will never be made available through any other channel.  So pony up ya' jerks, let's get this one made!

Ghost Girl Black by Matt Siren & MPHLabs

Ghost Girl was born out of two loves, the female form (specifically the face), and the Ms. Pac-Man video game (specifically the ghosts). Originally two separate designs that were combined out of experimentation, the end result proved to be iconic and widely recognizable. Derived from street artist Matt Siren's classic two dimensional graphic representation, Ghost Girl comes to life in vinyl form as three dimensional character art.

6" tall vinyl figure made by MPHLabs.

In stock now.

About Matt Siren:
Matt Siren is an illustrator and street artist based in Queens, NY. His art is heavily stimulated by images from the 80's such as cartoons, video games, graffiti, heavy metal cd covers, posters in the Art Nouveau style, pinup and the emergence of modern day (computer generated) graphic design & branding. His work is iconic - both clean and gritty, using clean lines over textural backgrounds. In 2005, he created "Ghost Girl" as his signature icon in representing his current work. Matt's work can been seen in clothing lines by Better Days Clothing, skateboards by Reciprocal Skateboards, RoyalFlush Magazine, numerous galleries in the NYC area, as well as throughout the streets of Manhattan.
