New Plush, Prints and Plastic from Scribe and 40Threads

New goods were recently added to the online store of Scribe and Alisa 40 Threads Ross. Everything from Scribe designed greeting cards, to the latest production Rumpus figures. Alisa has been hard at work sewing a bunch of cute plush wall mounts, Octopus and pillows. There are also some Party Owl prints in various colors, as well as a Meadowlark AP print up for grabs. Scribe's Blue Moon Artist Series Label Contest

The brewing company Blue Moon recently announced their artist series of limited edition labels that will grace the bottles of their wonderful brew. Among those "20 Up-and-Coming" artists (Blue Moon's words) is a familiar name, Donald Ross, aka Scribe. His painting was turned into a bottle label, which can can be purchased today in special 20 count packaging. To along with the artist series is the artist series contest, where Facebook users can vote on his/her favorite design, to determine the top 10 designs and giving their favorite artist a chance at $20,000. Voting runs now until August 31st, 2015. All any Facebook user has to do is head over to Blue Moons Facebook page and in the album of Artist Series: 20 Up-and-Coming Artists, "Like" his her favorite design. Just click on Scribe's design, or any others for that matter, and click the Like button. Congrats to Scribe on having his wonderful design picked and good luck to Scribe in the contest.

Rumpus Run T-Shirt from Scribe - Timed Release

It's been some time since Kansas based artist Scribe has had a shirt made and he thought so also. So, what did Scribe do, he had a meeting with the company Atomic Cotton and now "Rumpus Run" is available for purchase. Released as a limited timed run, the "Rumpus Run" T-Shirt can be purchased now until Saturday, November 8th. Priced at $20 each($23 for 2XL or 3XL), plus shipping, this 4 color, printed unisex shirt could be the beginning of a few t-shirts designs released by Scribe in the coming months. So, head on over to Scribe's webstore and make a purchase before November 8th. All Shirts are going to be shipped out starting November 14th, less than a week later.

Scribe decided to drop a bunch of stuff into his online store recently. Most of the available pieces sold out within a few hours, but there are still a bunch of these blind boxed 2 packs of the Mini Temptation Cupcakes. Each pack sells for $22 plus shipping and includes 2 different Mini Temptation pieces. Each figure measures a little bigger than 1"x1" and come signed on the bottom. Those who were quick, may have been able to choose the colors they wanted, but it's not guaranteed. These will definitely make great stocking stuffers!

Shadoe Delgado's custom Swanicorn and Mega Munny Sale

 

There's a lot happening in Shadoe Delgado's Fine Art sculpture world! His custom Swanicorn for Daniel Fleres' group show "The Gathering" is an outstanding contribution to the exhibition. Shadoe contributes alongside some of the scene's brightest stars, including (but not limited to) 64Colors, Scribe, DrilOne, Jason Limon, J*Ryu and many more fantastically skillful artists. Quite an accomplishment for an artist with about a year on designer vinyl & resin platforms behind him! 

 

Shadoe's piece, titled "The 3 Eyed 3 Horned Flying Shadow Swanicorn (aka The Hoarder)", we can see is employing Shadoe's newly designed peg system for its wings. As well as unique use of Shadoe's texturing techniques in the body and mask.

 

Exhibition opens Saturday March 9th at Dragatomi, but until then you can follow the show updates on their Facebook Event. This one of a kind Swanicorn will be available to purchase through Dragatomi.

 

 

Mega Munny Shadoelings?

Recently vinyl community member Jordan aka "Dopevinyl" has been working to put together a Urban Vinyl Artist documentary- and he's trying to get it Kickstarted here. This documentary film is in the home stretch, with just about 2500$ left to raise to make the film happen, and Shadoe has been upping his offerings to support it.

 

Shadoe is offering custom Mega Munny, now only 800$(normally 1000$+) through the Kickstarter Here. With exponentially more vinyl canvas space to work on, we can only imagine how much more detail, texture, antler- and don't forget, dingaling action, Shadoe would get up to on such a huge platform. Pull the trigger. DO IT! :)

On January 11, 2013 the always gracious my plastic heart crew are hosting another massive custom show. This one's curated by our friends at Freak Store Venezuela and all customs will be using Fonzo as a platform.

64 Colors, Andrew Bell, Aya Kakeda, Beast Brothers, Chuckboy, Fuller, Hydro74, Ian Ziobrowski, Jeremiah Ketner, Scribe, Southern Drawl, Rsin.....soooo many artists you know and love!!

Many of these artists are local so I'm sure there will be lots of them at the opening night. It'll be a great night to shake some hands, snag a Fonzo custom and maybe a walk out with a quick sketch too!
