Scribe decided to drop a bunch of stuff into his online store recently. Most of the available pieces sold out within a few hours, but there are still a bunch of these blind boxed 2 packs of the Mini Temptation Cupcakes. Each pack sells for $22 plus shipping and includes 2 different Mini Temptation pieces. Each figure measures a little bigger than 1"x1" and come signed on the bottom. Those who were quick, may have been able to choose the colors they wanted, but it's not guaranteed. These will definitely make great stocking stuffers!

Rampage Toys Moving to Japan; Last Resin Figures Release Tomorrow

Jon from Rampage Toys is moving to Japan in 2 weeks! He already has a soft vinyl toy in production there, so the Rampage Toys releases will continue, only from here on out they'll be in real Japanese vinyl! Jon has a couple final resin releases tomorrow in his shop: the rainbow-colored Flex Packs (above) and the Cupcake Buddha v2.0 figures (below).

These figures will drop Monday July 25th (tomorrow) at noon EST in the Rampage Toys web store. 

The end of an excellent chapter, and the beginning of a new one in the evolution of Rampage Toys!

And, to keep you sated while Jon moves in and sets up shop, we will be selling an exclusive and wide selection of NEVER BEFORE AVAILABLE Rampage Toys pieces. Instead of shipping his older one-offs and con/show exclusives to Japan, Jon shipped them to us. So I have a giant box of Rampage Toys awesomeness in our warehouse. As I unpack and photograph it, I will offer it up for sale in our Rampage Toys section. Stay tuned for more info on that.

Mini Kaiju Cupcake Blind Box Custom Series drops tomorrow

Announcing the impending release of a Tenacious Toys x Rampage Toys blind box custom series collaboration: Mini Kaiju Cupcakes!

We have been collaborating with Jon Malmstedt and Rampage Toys for a while now on various endeavors. Jon pours these great little 2-inch Mini Kaiju Cupcakes in resin and at first he was painting them himself. Then he tossed the idea at me for a blind box custom series based on this platform, and I was game!

We decided to go with a 25-piece series and 5 different artists (one of which is Jon). Jon picked another artist (Justin Hillgrove of Imps and Monsters) and left it to me to pick the other 3. I chose NREAZON from Texas, Nasty Neil (iwillnotbeawastedtalent) who's now from NY, and OsirisOrion from CT. 5 blanks went to each artist.

Our collaborative blind box custom series with Rampage Toys is getting on towards release! I took some shots of all the pieces together. Next step, they go into the boxes! More pics to come, along with release date info.

"Monsters, Cupcakes and Monster Cupcakes!" Rampage Toys Solo show in Seattle

Jon Malmstedt's very first SOLO SHOW will take place in SEATTLE, WA on May 12th, during the Capitol Hill Artwalk!  The show is at the most excellent CAKESPY SHOP, owned and run by the very mostest excellentest Jessie Oleson - CAKESPY herself! The opening is from 5-8pm on Thursday May 12th.  Check it out and invite any friends you might think would come! Here is the Facebook event.

'Monsters, Cupcakes and Monster Cupcakes' will showcase paintings and toys from Seattle-based character designer Jon Malmstedt - RAMPAGE TOYS! Jon's work focuses on fun and colorful creatures that just so happen to be monsters. Expect scenes of urban destruction a' la the classic films 'Godzilla' and 'Mothra', but with a bent in the direction of silly - instead of Godzilla think 'giant cupcake that has no arms.' The show will include paintings, custom vinyl toys, handcast resin figures and a couple collaborative pieces done with the Cakespy herself - something for anyone who loves monsters, cupcakes, monster cupcakes or all of the above! Oh, and need we mention that actual, real, edible and delicious CUPCAKES will be in attendance? YUMMY!!!'
