KiD iNK iNDUSTRiES' "May the Fourth" Sumo Trooper Micro Run.

Kris Dulfer has released a new wave of his Sumo Trooper resin figures.  Celebrating Star Wars Day, May the Fourth, a rainbow of new colors are available on his site including a blue GID colorway endorsed by Benny Kline himself!  These are single run colors so grab them while you can!  I personally have several of his previously released Sumo Troopers in various colors and I can tell you that these are high quality resin pieces you'll be proud to have in your collection.

Kris Dulfer just launched a brand online new store front for KiD iNK iNDUSTRIES and has stocked it FULL of new stuff.  There's NYCC 2014 exclusives, custom painted vinyl, and crazy sofubi pieces. From G.I. Joe customs to Mountain displays for your minifigures to custom painted He-Man playsets!

And for my fellow vapers, a whole rainbow of Vape Snails.  Four inch tall resin snails with a custom drilled hole to hold your mod!  Just tell him what size or model and he'll get you set up with a new home for your vape!

Hip Hop Trooper figures available TODAY at Booth 208

Each 3.75" figure is hand-painted by Small Angry Monster, with blister-packed accessories by KiD iNK iNDUSTRiES (Def Star Blaster & gold chain). Includes 2-sides full color card with artwork by Manly Art and printed by Sidekick Lab. 

Each of the 100 Hip Hop Trooper action figures were blessed by Hip Hop Trooper himself by way of his signature on cards that he also hand-numbered: 1/100 through 100/100. Hip Hop Trooper figures are $65 each, find them at the Tenacious Collective. Look for me (Benny). 

If you can't make it to NYCC to grab one in person, we will be auctioning 3 on eBay after NYCC with 100% of sales of those pieces going to a cancer charity, so there is a shot at getting one starting in a week or so.

NYCC 2014 - Hip Hop Trooper from Team Tenacious Toys

A few days before NYCC 2014 and a few more exclusives are being revealed. The latest reveal is a Hip Hop Trooper from Tenacious Toys and Team Tenacious.

Here is the project as explained by Benny:

We are super stoked to reveal our final #NYCC Exclusive - a 3.75" bootleg-style @hiphoptrooper action figure, executed by Team Tenacious with the blessing of Hip Hop Trooper himself! Figure comes with Def Star Thumper and gold chain accessories, in a blister clamshell with full color artwork! Big big thanks to @s_a_monster for the impressively detailed paint on the figures, @manlyart for the ridiculous card back artwork, @sidekicklab for printing the cards, and Tenacious Toys Operations Manager @kris_dulfer for handling literally every other part of this project, from the figures to the accessories to the purchasing. Truly a team effort here. 100 figures, $65 each. Look for a few figures to be held back and sold online after NYCC to benefit Hip Hop Trooper's charity of choice!

NYCC 2014 Exclusives from Kris Dulfer through GeekStuff Booth 127

Kris Dulfer is going to have a booth at NYCC 2014, through the Tenacious Toys Collective space, Booth #208. In addition to having his own booth, Kris will have some awesome exclusives available through Geek Stuff, Booth #127. Kris painted up some GeekStuff Dead Vinyl Busts, which will be available for $120 each from the Geek Stuff booth.

In addition to the GeekStuff Dead Vinyl Busts, Kris created D4L3K. Available in various shades of blue, D4L3K is limited to 10 pieces and priced at $50 each, D4L3K was created by combining 2 things Matt (from Big Kev's Geek Stuff) loves: Doctor Who and Star Wars. The finished piece represents what a mid-afternoon brainstorming session can end up with. These pieces, as well as other awesome goodies, will be available at the GeekStuff Booth #127 at NYCC 2014. KiD iNK iNDUSTRiES at NYCC

Kris Dulfer has been gearing up for this year's New York Comic Con and teasing us with pics via Instagram and Facebook.   Now he's ready to show us the goods.  Like last year, Kris will be part of the Tenacious Toys Collective, situated in the middle of The Block at NYCC.  He'll have some really unique wares as you can see below.  From custom painted sofubi skulls and kaiju like Grody Shogun to an gooey Groot and sparkly Yoda.  Stop by booth #208 to check out the wares KiD iNK iNDUSTRiES has to offer, including a debut action figure by Justin Lebowitz!

Monster Kolor Custom Toy Show August 16 at PIQ Inside Grand Central Terminal

Announcing our August 16th Monster Kolor custom show and pinstriping demo at PIQ inside Grand Central Terminal! Curated by Matt Walker of Monster Kolor and me, Benny Kline of Tenacious Toys, this show will feature 20 artists who work with various Monster Kolor brand paint products. Expect to see monsters, robots and all manner of freaky, vividly-colored creations! Sure to inspire you to create your own custom toys... I got hooked the very first time I used Monster Kolor paints.

Soft opening Aug 15 immediately after I set up the show, but if you can, come August 16th at 3pm to meet Matt Walker and the Monster Kolor artists and get schooled at Matt's 3pm pinstriping demo. If you're in town Aug 17 for the NY NOW trade show, there will be a party in the evening at PIQ as well to kick off the convention! I will be there in the shop all 3 days.

Come to the Shuttle Passage in GCT to find PIQ, which is NYC's premier and most conveniently located art toy shop. Many of the participating artists will be in attendance.

MOMMY'S BOY: Bag Head edition by KiD iNK iNDUSTRiES

The Late 1970’s and the early 1980’s … so many good things came out of them. One of them was an unstoppable fear inspiring monster of the time, an unkillable killer, who wore a hockey mask and cut up naughty morally weak camp counselors like tender filet mignons …
Paying homage to Friday the 13th series of 80’s slasher films, this release focuses particularly on the second installment where we see our anti-hero developing his persona, before he donned his iconic hockey mask and machete. Back in the early days as he stalked the woods around the camp he wore a filthy sack on his head, and used an axe, this was quite effective as a start. The only way to go from there, was up, and out of the grave at least 10 more times … Kudos to Mommys Boy, congratulations on over achieving - all the way to outer space and beyond. 

MOMMY'S BOY is a collaborative release between KiD iNK iNDUSTRiES and Big Kev's Geek Stuff.  Each figure comes with a hand sewn bag to cover up that ugly mug and the weapon of choice, a bloody ax, all in a VHS-styled box and includes an authenticity card and prints for $45 each.  Thirteen MOMMY'S BOY figures will be available on Friday, June 13th at 12 noon EST at Big Kev's store.  As a bonus, there will be two chase piece claim tickets inserted randomly.  One ticket will be redeemable for a gold edition MOMMY'S BOY and the other for a glow-in-the-dark chase.  Check out Big Kev's Geek Stuff podcast for all the info and lots of geeky toy, movie and comic news!

Sunday, Busy Sunday - Wiseman and The Crane, Deadbeets

As you know, this Sunday is Super Series Sunday at Tenacious Toys!  You didn't know that?  Well this Sunday is Super Series Sunday at Tenacious Toys!!  That means some cool exclusive toys.  This time around it's Kris Dulfer of KiD iNK iNDUSTRY's Wiseman and The Crane blind bagged resin piece.  Cast in a rainbow of translucent and opaque colorways, Wise Man and Crane was molded from a very special statue.

During the traveling related to his tour of duty, my pops found himself briefly in Thailand. While in Thailand he came across a merchant who was selling different wares and curios. Among the objects he selected a metalish figurine of an old man with a crane perched at his feet. An excellent gift, he thought, for my grandmother. He eventually returned home from his tour. My grandmother possessed the figurine till she passed away, upon which my father reacquired it. The figurine was always on my father's dresser as far back as I could remember, and I was always fascinated by it.

 Kris' 3.5" Wiseman and The Crane will available this Sunday, September 15th, at 12pm EST for just $25.
