Thomas and Friends Blind Bag Minis

I'm a big fan of blind bag/box/whatever toys. They trigger whatever chemical in my brain that also responds to tearing open a fresh Magic booster pack. The down side to most blind packaged toys is the price. $4 or $5 (and up) just to pull the same figure I pulled twice already? Nah.

That's why I was a big collector of the Zerboz super hero micro figures. At a buck a pop, I could grab a handful and feed the need. These Thomas and Friends minis are definitely next on my collect list. My son is a huge Thomas fan and it has slowly infected me as well. And these are just $1.49 a piece and available at Walmart. With over 70 different designs like metallic colorways and superhero engines there's plenty to keep a collector hunting.

Sour Diesel is Bud of the Day #5 and a part of Tony Devito's Best Buds Series 1, a custom resin blind bag release that will be available here at Tenacious Toys on December 15th. I gotta say that so far, this kooky little guy is my favorite!

Rampage Toys Exclusive St. Nikolaus Tag Killer Krampus from Krotpong

Next week, on Friday, which is St. Nikolaus Tag in Germany and Austria, Rampage Toys will be releasing an EXCLUSIVE new version of Krotpong's Killer Krampus figure!  The figures are cast in Glow in the Dark BLUE vinyl, and there will be two options available:

1) Unpainted - $80 each.

2) Blind Bagged One-off - $150 each.  

For these, orders will be accepted for about 5 days, and all orders will be shipped out in time for them to arrive before Christmas!  The paint application will be a 'secret' - and each one will be a one-of-a-kind handpaint!

Sunday, Busy Sunday - Wiseman and The Crane, Deadbeets

As you know, this Sunday is Super Series Sunday at Tenacious Toys!  You didn't know that?  Well this Sunday is Super Series Sunday at Tenacious Toys!!  That means some cool exclusive toys.  This time around it's Kris Dulfer of KiD iNK iNDUSTRY's Wiseman and The Crane blind bagged resin piece.  Cast in a rainbow of translucent and opaque colorways, Wise Man and Crane was molded from a very special statue.

During the traveling related to his tour of duty, my pops found himself briefly in Thailand. While in Thailand he came across a merchant who was selling different wares and curios. Among the objects he selected a metalish figurine of an old man with a crane perched at his feet. An excellent gift, he thought, for my grandmother. He eventually returned home from his tour. My grandmother possessed the figurine till she passed away, upon which my father reacquired it. The figurine was always on my father's dresser as far back as I could remember, and I was always fascinated by it.

 Kris' 3.5" Wiseman and The Crane will available this Sunday, September 15th, at 12pm EST for just $25.

BUT THAT'S NOT ALL!  The 15th is always an important day for collectors of the Scott Tolleson x George Gaspar Baby Deadbeets series.  This time around October Toys have two more to add to your collection, Bruiser and Thrilla.  To top it off, a full size Deadbeet will be released on the same day, the Birthday Suit Deadbeet.  This one looks perfect for customizers.  Both will be available at 3PM EST.  $2 each for the Baby Deadbeets and just $60 for the 7.5" Japanese vinyl Deadbeet.
