Peruvian designer Italo Perochena, aka Italiux, started as an illustrator as a fun part of his days off. Then he got viral with some of his illustrations, started selling them as tees and posters.
he has been doing that for the past 5 years and now he wanted to make Toys outta the most famous ones. 

His choice as his First piece of the collection is "Gotta Burn ´em All", cus it was his first design to get picked on a Tee site. 

 "Gotta Burn ´em All" is a parody of what it would really happen if a Poke Monster Trainer would ride a flaming Horse. Well, a little sadistic but fun.

MikeFX x RenOneLab Minion Resin Figures Drop This Friday

MikeFX and RenOneLab are set to release their first collaboration resin figure ‘Minion’ this Friday, March 25th. The figure, which was inspired by RenOneLab’s logo and frequent sticker subject, was originally inspired by a make-up designed by legendary make-up fx artist Dick Smith. MikeFX, being a make-up fx artist himself, recognized the design and created the figure as a trade for some design work and stickers… The two were happy enough with the figure that it was decided to make it available to toy collectors and FX fans everywhere.

The first release will be a run of 10 grey DIY figures, with one ‘Cherry-Bomb’ chase color way figure (bottom image) randomly picked to ship. These will be available starting Friday morning (March 25th 2016) at 9am PST. The 5” resin figures will initially sell for $25 (plus shipping) thru www.rottenresin.storenvy.com with subsequent figures released thru www.renonelabs.storenvy.com, as well the Rotten Resin site.

After the initial release, additional figures will be available in various colors and materials from both MikeFX Rotten Resin and RenOneLab (prices will vary for different color ways and materials).

One-Of Cass Jerman Beasties To Be Your Bestie

Cass Jerman @cassjerman 's been busy (but, she's never too busy for you, sugar) in the Chudfundary desert collective sculpting, casting and painting little 1-of friends.

An assortment of 15 hand painted critter sculpts which debuted at DesignerCon 2014 are available on Cass' eStore here ranging from 35-40$ea. These are 1-of paint jobs, and will not be reproduced.

Periodically Cass will post a new one-of-a-kind colorway to her instagram @cassjerman and put it up on her eStore, so follow along to stay up-to-date with the new releases. Once all these casts find homes, the molds will be retired, and a new different project will replace them, so collect your favourites!

My Bomb to Bear by Cole Brenner drops September 21 for Super Series Sundays

Cole Brenner [ColeBrenner.com] is bringing his graphic design style to the toy world with the release of “My Bomb to Bear.” Five blue My Bomb to Bear figures were created for a Tenacious Toys Super Series Sundays release on September 21. The custom boxed toys have a bear strapped to a rocket that's mid-flight; each 3.5in resin figure is individually hand cast & painted.

Cole's experience as an apparel designer for J!NX & TAPOUT has been translated into his personal artwork which packs a dark & humorous punch.

“Its been the hardest and greatest year of my life. The change of focus from a Freelance Designer [BRENNERds.com] to a stay-at-home dad, and now to full time Artist & Toy Studio. The spark that motivated this change is the recent loss of my dad [comedian David Brenner], who had made it to Boulder, CO for the birth of my first son Wesley in November, but in April he passed away after battling cancer. I keep a photo of my dad and I on my work table, so he is with me in spirit. After his passing, my brother Wyatt and I went into a frenzy casting and painting. Now the toys are for sale on ColeBrenner.com and on the bottom of each box is a small “HEART, Dad” the signature of every email he sent me.”



The five My Bomb to Bear figures allocated to Tenacious Toys (above) contain one tentacled chase and four regular blue colorway figures. This Super Series Sundays release will take place at 6PM on Sunday September 21, 2014. Each blind-boxed piece will be $65.
