Unpublished Video of Jason Freeny Sculpting the MTV Logo Anatomy-Style

Jason Freeny recently uncovered a video produced by MTV which profiles him and his work he did on the custom anatomical MTV logo... this was a handmade piece he executed a while back.


 Apparently the video footage was shot and edited but it never saw the light of day... original video is published here. It's a pretty high quality video piece so it's sorta odd that it was never run...

Fuzzy Puppet Reviews XXRAY Bugs Bunny & Tweety Bird Figures by Mighty Jaxx

We are super excited to work with the hilarious Fuzzy Puppet on a review video for the Mighty Jaxx XXRAY x Looney Tunes Bugs Bunny and Tweety Bird figures. Designed by our buddy Jason Freeny (maker of groovy things!), these mini figure collectibles were probably the weirdest items that Fuzzy Puppet ever got his furry little mitts on. He kept calling them "CRAZY" which is pretty much accurate.

Jason Freeny Customizes KAWS Companion Figure

Popular custom toy artist, illustrator and all-around awesome dude Jason Freeny released images this week of his next beautiful custom toy project: a KAWS Companion! While this piece has been manufactured in a factory-produced anatomical variant before, Jason wanted to present his own interpretation of a "dissected" Companion as he has done for countless other pop culture characters.

Jason's WIP custom KAWS figure was even covered on a popular site called "Highsnobiety" and KAWS himself dropped in on Jason's IG comments section to weigh in. All in all, a spectacular and very public start to a one-off WIP toy project. Not sure if I've ever seen a custom toy sculpture get this much coverage before it was even finished! Great work, Jason, this one is looking awesome so far!

Tossakan is the demon king of Longka and has “ten necks, heads and arms”.  In the Indian version of the Ramayana he is called Ravanna. This is the Thai version of the Indian Ramayana, an allegory of the triumph of good versus evil.  Our hero, Rama is a paragon of virtue – the ideal king.  The villain is the demon king Tosakan.  This epic tale is thought to established after the Thais occupied Angkor in the 15^th century.  It has been an inspiration for painting and classical drama.
