Bigshot Toyworks' Gnomeboy Gets Dissected with Jason Freeny

by

Bigshot Toyworks is proud to announce a new collaboration with the infamous and always amazing Jason Freeny! Jason has been a friend of Bigshot Toyworks for many years. In that time, they’ve worked on numerous projects together including the recent Bugs Bunny Anatomy sculpt for Kidrobot. Naturally, there's been talk for some time about a more personal collaboration, and now Bigshot Toyworks is ready to unveil a new project blending Jason’s unique anatomical dissection with one of Bigshot's in-house IPs: The Gnomeboys.

Behold: Ragnar “The Metal Gnome” Hellstrummer! He puts the Rok in Ragnarok! Ragnar is all Metal...all day long...even while doing laundry. He is dark and moody and is ready to set the stage on fire with his black metal guitar licks. We just hope his guts don’t spill out before the end of his solo….

The Ragnar Anatomical Dissection figure is 6” tall, hand-crafted from polystone in the world’s most metal place of crafting... CHINA!

Ragnar is a one-time collaborative project limited to 200 pieces in the standard colorway, with preorders available now at the Bigshot Toyshop:

Preorders for the standard edition of Ragnar will ship to customers after NYCC. In order to slake the black thirst for metal that inevitably creeps up at conventions, two more super-limited colorways will be created, including the Black Death Edition Ragnars to be sold at NYCC and DCon.

CHOOSE YOUR FATE Custom OTMFG 3DRetro Robot by Ersico

by

The 15th was what, Tuesday?  This little guy barely had enough time to hit the mailbox before Eric Sorrells started putting his custom magic on it.  And I really dig the spin he gave this minifigure from October Toys and 3DRetro.  Giving the head a green paint app changed the whole concept of the figure, from clockwork monster to a "lil green wormy pilot" of a steam-powered suit of armor.  The metal finish, detailing and other tweaks Eric gave this piece really make it pop.  You can add it to your shelves now, at the Ersico webstore.

David Kraig From A Galaxy Far, Far, Away... Chewie!

by
Using a 4" Munny to make this amazing Star Wars inspired piece, David Kraig has made one of my favorite customs of the year! Made with super sculpey and acrylics with the unusual but awesome usage of real leather and actual metal this custom "Chewie" has all the bells and whistles. I am loving the backdrop for the promotional photos as well which makes this piece pop even more. If you are interested in purchasing an amazing custom from David Kraig or commissioning one please click HERE.
