David "DeeTen" Ten's work never ceases to amaze me. This commissioned custom piece he completed late last year is no exception. Based on a Skelanimals MAXX figure, the custom is covered in intricate details. Looking closer you'll find that many of the items used to create this clockwork-esque creature can be found at your local hardware store but combine with wood, acrylic, vinyl and Sculpey to create a steampunk curio.

Created for a charity auction, David Ten's latest piece is crafted from wood, metal, clay acrylic and vinyl and draws inspiration from antique 1940's wooden radios, steampunk aesthetics, art deco, and Kabuki Masks. You can seen and purchase more of Deeten's amazing artwork at his online store.
