Bearded TTC Cavey - Exclusive at ToyConUK 2015

The Toy Chronicle are proud to reveal that the Bearded TTC Cavey will be exclusively available on the TTC booth at the upcoming ToyConUK on April 25th.

Available for £15 each, these 2.5inch Bearded Cavey will come signed & numbered by Holly Astral (Hey Cavey). There are 20 available to purchase, each coming bagged with a beautiful header card.

Teased a few months ago, The Toy Chronicle has teamed up with Holly Astral, of HeyCavey, to create a ToyConUK 2015 exclusive Cavey. The Bearded TTC Cavey is going to be priced at £15 and will be limited to just 20 pieces. This is most likely, the very last Cavey that will be available, unless Holly finds some free time to produce a small run in the future, so a lot of people will be after this little blue Cavey. Each Bearded TTC Cavey will come bagged with a header card and comes signed and numbered by Holly. For those who plan on attending ToyConUK 2015, be sure to find The Toy Chronicle booth and pick up a Bearded TTC Cavey.

ToyConUK 2015 Teaser from The Toy Chronicle

With ToyConUK 2015 right around the corner, teasers and releases will start to trickle in. The Toy Chronicle sent over a little cryptic teaser about a release for ToyConUK and hopefully everyone will get the picture. Something to note about this release is that CAVEY is coming to an end. So, this should be a highly sought after release... whatever it is based on the teaser (FYI it's going to be a CAVEY). For those who are able to attend ToyConUK 2015, be sure to purchase tickets early and book that travel.

DCon: A few Dragatomi Goodies - Booth 300

Dragatomi is going to have a lot going on during Designer Con 2013. In addition to a plethora of high number production toys, Dragatomi is also bringing a few limited edition goodies as well.

First up is a Fujisan Kush edition by Bigfoot, limited to 100 pieces and priced at $90.

A Green Cavey is also going to be available from the Dragatomi Booth, #300, at Designer Con. Limited to 25 pieces, this wonderful little Cavey is a creation of U.K. based artist A Little Stranger. Each one is priced at $25.

Making it's debut is the black Modern Hero Bank by Mad, Jeremy Madl. Priced at $150 and limited to 30 pieces, this 18" tall coin bank has been a long time in the making. A pink version made an appearance at NYCC. Mad will have a signing at the Dragatomi booth Saturday at 11am. Mad will probably be bringing along some Micro Madl goodies, so bring some cash and a sketchbook and show him some support.

Some Sweet releases by Hey Cavey!

August brings sweet Strawberries and Watermelons to the Cavey world! Watermelon Cavey is the first Cavey to feature a different colored back to his front, while also featuring hand painted seeds all over. At 16 GBPs(about $25), Watermelon Cavey is limited to 50 pieces and also comes with a purple enamel badge and a Cavey Cube carrying case.

Based on the 2010 super limited plush design of Strawberry Cavey, Strawberry Vinyl Cavey is handpainted with a strawberry stalk on his head. Limited to only 20 pieces and priced at 15 GBP(about $23), each Strawberry Vinyl Cavey is signed and numbered on the bottom, while being packaged with a special header card just for him.

One of Kind Cavey created for Charity by A Little Stranger

 

Supporting charity causes is always a good thing, combine that with a chance to win some awesome stuff and you have a good combination for success. Holly, aka A Little Stranger, has created a one of a kind Cavey Vinyl figure to be raffled off, with the proceeds going to Leukemia & Lymphoma Research.

In August 2013 twelve cyclists will be cycling 1000 miles from John o 'Groats to Lands End, over 10 days, in memory of Karl Sandwith and to raise money for Leukemia & Lymphoma Research.

Traveling the furthest possible distance in the British Isles, it is regarded as one of the toughest cycling challenges in the UK.

We have created this one of a kind custom Vinyl Cavey to raise money for this important cause. Team SOS Cavey is 3" tall and wears a handpainted team jersey and a tiny hand sculpted cycling helmet in the team colours.
