Cat Atomic and Corner 12 are collaborating to bring 12 custom 3-inch Kidrobot Dunnys next month. These will be released on Corner 12's website August 22.  For now, here are a couple of teaser shots.

Taylored Curiosities reveals Toycon UK pieces

Here's a selection of the work you can expect to see from Taylored Curiosities this weekend at ToyCon UK. There is a real mix of plush, resin, ceramic and custom work and their first official, enamel pins. They will also be showing off their newest line which is a collaboration with Ohm Beads!

All work will be available at booth 25 which they are sharing with their partner in crime Lisa Rae Hansen.

FER MG & THE BLACK SPOT EXCLUSIVE SERIES

Fer MG and The Black Spot have joined forces in the first The Black Spot artist series.

This first series bring us twelve Kidrobot customs by Fer MG inspired on Pixar characters, an exclusive collection of 8 dunnys, 2 munnys, 1 raffy and 1 labbit. You can find familiar faces as Mr. Potato, Slinky, Hamm, Space aliens (Toy Story), Sulley, Wazowsky, Squishy, Reggie (Monsters Inc), Sadness, Anger (Inside Out), Edna Mode and Jack Jack (The Incredibles).

Zukaty Art News

Zukaty Art has just released a handful of customs from the past year for sale in his online shop. There's quite a bit of variety most being made in Japanese soft vinyl figures from the likes of RealxHead, Maxtoy, Secret Base and M1go, the Mecha Ju is a 8" Kidrobot Dunny inspired by Hirota Saigansho Brutal Monsters, and a coulple of 5" Kozik Labbits custom painted double sided so you can vary your display, Manyeyes Monster and HeartCage.

Additionally older pieces and art in the store have now been reduced, so if there's something you have had your eye on now is the the time to get it.

Zukaty Art News - New Customs, Summer Sale and Commissions

Zukaty Art has been hard at work at some brand new customs. The first is a personal keeper for the artist, a custom rebel ink SC version called Z1.

The second custom is a Mecha Gorilla Ju HS inspired Metallic Blue 8" Dunny that is available for sale. (If interested just contact Zukaty Art)

The third custom was a private commission Psychedelic Mushroom Custom M1 Matango.

If you like the work on these or have an idea, show or project you would like Zukaty Art to be part of, they are available for commissions/bookings for September- December 2015.

NYCC Suburban Vinyl Booth

Artist Carson Catlin brings his fantastic reticulated style to New York Comic Con this year and Suburban Vinyl will be showcasing his work. Using some of the latest platforms Catlin has created some amazing pieces for Suburban Vinyl. They will have an assortment of 7 4" Munnys, 2 Coarse mini omens, 2 Kronk Mayhem Dunnys and a Dead Zebra Last Knight. Plaseebo for the Tokyo Cat Fight show

Plaseebo was invited to create a few customs for the upcoming Tokyo Cat Fight show at the Design Fiesta Gallery this weekend.

The “Neko Night Gamer” is a one of a kind vinyl mash up of a Kaiju Coup Warui Neko body with the head of a Plaseebo Night Gamer. She has red glass eyes and an internal motion activated color-changing LED unit.

The “Wereneko” is a one of a kind Plaseebo custom of the Kaiju Coup “Warui Neko” vinyl.

She has swirled glass eyes, inset fangs and  an internal motion activated color-changing LED unit.

SoKo Cat - Sweetheart Pups

 SubUrban Vinyl’s Valentine’s Day art show: “Heart Strings: Art to make hearts all a flutter or help mend the broken ones” is over and SoKo Cat's "Sweetheart Pups" are back and available on sale in her store right now. These adorable pups are based on the valentines candy hearts that you either love or loathe. Either way we can all agree that these pups are adorable. They come in four different colors, each with a different saying on the back and are availble now for $30.

Bat-Nosed Basilhog still available at We Become Monsters - but only until Xmas Eve!

We Become Monsters will be closing it's online doors temporarily after Xmas Eve, but before that happens, you've still got time to take your pic of some new goodies, and a few old favorites like the ones seen here!

The Bat Nosed Basilhog, 'bat nosed' because these basilhogs echolocate nasally, the oversized nose is thought to serve some role in modifying and directing the echolocation call. While the nasal cavity is strictly for echolocation, the scent receptors on the top of the head are especially attuned to the smell of Ocimum basilicum. These creatures will chew through walls, human flesh and thinner layers of metal or stone to get to the plant once detected. While they only eat basil, and cannot digest meat, since they can detect the odor of basil even after it has been consumed by another animal, they are considered carnivores, and dangerous ones at that. You do not want one burrowing through your belly to get to your Thai lunch.
