FUCKING MONEY HAZARD By HAZARD Jong Hun Ha | The Toy Chronicle

Well this guy has cojones, for sure. I spy a "Supreme" logo in there which means either:

A- Jon Hun Ha is officially working with Supreme.
B- He's not.

In either circumstance, there's gonna be some chatter. I couldn't locate any further info on the artist, releases, drops, collaborations or images aside from what has been posted on The Toy Chronicle.

Cool sculpt either way.

Skullhead Blanks by Huck Gee at ToyConUK 2016

With ToyConUK 2016 right around the corner, artists are making final preparations for the trip across the pond. Huck Gee is making the trip back to his motherland and he is bringing along some colorful Skullhead Blanks as ToyConUK exclusives. Orange, Blue and Pink are the color choices for ToyConUK, with Orange and Pink being made available at the actual convention. The Blue Skullhead Blank will only be available at the Toy Chronicle hosted ToyConUK 2016 After party, thus the blue hue. In addition to the colorful resin to add to dusty shelves, Huck will also be bringing a batch of new Skullhead Punk T-Shirts. Hand Colored prints, watches, banners, stickers and a few customs will also be available at ToyConUK. For those attending the convention, be sure to arrive early as many of the items Huck will be bringing will most likely sell out.

Bearded TTC Cavey from HeyCavey x The Toy Chronicle for ToyConUK 2015

Teased a few months ago, The Toy Chronicle has teamed up with Holly Astral, of HeyCavey, to create a ToyConUK 2015 exclusive Cavey. The Bearded TTC Cavey is going to be priced at £15 and will be limited to just 20 pieces. This is most likely, the very last Cavey that will be available, unless Holly finds some free time to produce a small run in the future, so a lot of people will be after this little blue Cavey. Each Bearded TTC Cavey will come bagged with a header card and comes signed and numbered by Holly. For those who plan on attending ToyConUK 2015, be sure to find The Toy Chronicle booth and pick up a Bearded TTC Cavey.

ToyConUK 2015 Teaser from The Toy Chronicle

With ToyConUK 2015 right around the corner, teasers and releases will start to trickle in. The Toy Chronicle sent over a little cryptic teaser about a release for ToyConUK and hopefully everyone will get the picture. Something to note about this release is that CAVEY is coming to an end. So, this should be a highly sought after release... whatever it is based on the teaser (FYI it's going to be a CAVEY). For those who are able to attend ToyConUK 2015, be sure to purchase tickets early and book that travel.

Project Bohna Skully by Blue-Frog World

New platforms are getting created and produced more often now, then ever before. With 3D printing and resin molding becoming more and more popular, it's quite simple to create a model(or have one created) and produce a low quantity of pieces to gauge interest. The latest addition to the ever increasing world of designer toy platforms comes from Blue-Frog World, it's called Bohna Skully. Blue-Frog is teaming up with Toy Chronicle and Toy Con UK to launch this latest platform. Looking quite similar to a modified MAD*L figure, Bohna Skully appears to have no articulation and has a stylized skull as the head piece. Based on some pics online, the overall piece seems to stand at about 4".

To help launch Bohna Skully, Blue-Frog is holding a contest which involves creating a design for the Bohna Skully using a provided template. Submissions for the contest need to be sent to BohnaSkully [at] blue-frog [dot] co [dot] uk. From the submitted designs, 3 designs will be chosen and put to a public vote. Blue-Frog, Toy Chronicle, and Toy Con UK will each choose a design to be voted on by the public. The winning design will be sent a Bohna Skully to customize, which will be displayed at Toy Con UK 2015. So, for all those who are keen, download the template and submit a design before October 10, 2014. No word on how many times a person can submit a design, but there is no theme or design limitations, other than having to create the design in chosen as the winner. In the meantime, check out the hashtag #BohnaSkully on social media to see what artists are coming up with.
