by
Milk Bar Studios is proud to present Shlap, an iOS 10 App that lets the user share exclusively designed sticker packs with their friends using iMessage.

Shlap has been produced to coincide with the release of iOS 10 and in particular the new iMessage stickers feature. We have teamed up with artists such as Matt Jones aka Lunartik, Shawn ‘Shawnimal’ Smith, Phil Corbett and Miss Wah to produce exclusive sticker packs.

Released worldwide Tuesday September 13th 2016 - available NOW!

Shlap contains exclusive sticker packs from artists all over the world and presents them in one convenient place. The user can browse Popular, New and Free sticker packs before using an in-app purchase to download their favourites to their device. The sticker packs then appear in the iMessage stickers’ extension ready to use in iMessage conversations with their friends. Shlap has been localised into fourteen languages including French, Spanish, German, Italian, Chinese (Simplified & Traditional), Japanese and Korean. New artists are constantly signing up meaning new content is added frequently.

Shlap is free to download from the Apple AppStore, with each artist sticker pack costing £0.79 (UK) & $0.99 (US) as an in-app purchase. (There are some free sticker sets you can use, like the one I downloaded and used below to bother Rob Lumino...)

More information about Shlap can be found on their website – www.Shlap.me  and you can download Shlap from the AppStore – http://bit.ly/Shlap

by
As a special “Black Friday” promotion, running November 25 through “Cyber Monday” on November 30), the Ida, Crow and Totem plushies will be bundled together at a discount: $70 for all three (a savings of $10).

iam8bit and ustwo have teamed up to debut an exclusive line of Monument Valley merchandise just in time for the holiday season, featuring the mind-bending visuals of the game and its beloved protagonist, the princess Ida. Awarded Apple’s “Game of the Year,” Monument Valley peacefully explores concepts of sacred geometry and the journey to restore a labyrinthine world to its original shape. The collection reflects the course of Ida’s odyssey and the tranquility of her environment. Starting today, fans can pre-order the capsule collection of Monument Valley clothing, hats, pins, and plushies directly from the iam8bit online store.

Enthusiasts can show off their fandom for the award-winning game with t-shirts lovingly crafted by Monument Valley’s own designer, Ken Wong, featuring extractions of the serene, Escher-esque monuments, princess Ida, her obliging companion Totem and the mysterious Crow People.

All Monument Valley merchandise is produced in low quantities with an eye toward premium quality, truly, quality over quantity in practice. They are available exclusively on the iam8bit online store starting today, Tuesday, November 24 (store.iam8bit.com / store.iam8bit.co.uk). The t-shirts will retail for $25, the pins for $10, the plushies for $22.50 (Ida & Crow) and $35 (Totem). All orders placed prior to December 15 will arrive in time for the holidays.

Mech Maker Kickstarter by IMAGIMOD

by
3D printed figures designed using the Mech Maker system

Ever think to yourself :
"I want to design some killer robot figures and then play cool games with them"?

You're a human being, so the answer is yes.  Unless you're a robot.  But the answer is probably still yes.  If you're anything like me, all your robot designs start out great in your head but then end up looking a lot like somebody turned over a scrap metal bin and didn't bother to clean it up.  And then you has a sad.  Well your sadness ends NOW!

IMAGIMOD has launched a Kickstarter for a mindblowingly cool new product/app/service called Mech Maker.  Mech Maker allows you to design your own custom robots, choose their colors and even have them 3D printed and sent right to your door.  By choosing from hundreds of different components and color schemes you can guarantee that the mech you design is unlike any other mech.  No more boxes of the same old plastic model you've built a hundred times.  Create an army of mechanical warriors, each with its own unique weaponry and style.  And not only will you be able to create online, IMAGIMOD has also created an iOS app that allows you to design whenever and wherever the creative bug strikes.  Design it, color it, print it and play it.  If you've got a 3D printer, then grab the file and print it right in your own home (or wherever you keep that thing)!

Mech Maker on iOS
Mech Maker uses booster packs to give you access to new and exciting components and patterns to build your army.  Some components are common while others are rare or even "prototype".  Want a component but don't want to wait to find it in a pack?  Buy it outright.  Got a ton of extra components?  Trade them for points to get that piece you really want.  If the idea of cracking open booster packs full of robot parts was cool enough, IMAGIMOD is partnering with big names in the game and movie world to bring you even more exciting parts to build with.

The Mech Maker system isn't just for designing and printing figures. On top of it all, Mech Maker allows you to create your own games to play with the figures you create.  Play them, test them, upload it and then share your game to the world.  Play thousands of games created by other players as well.

Head on over to the Mech Maker Kickstarter page and pick your pledge level.  All of the levels include some really great rewards.  I recommend the Paint Job pledge level.  You'll get access to several Kickstarter exclusive models, a ton of booster packs, and a 3D printed mech designed by you using the Mech Maker software and hand painted by Adam Pratt, one of the most talented miniature painters in the business!

This is an Adam Pratt.
