New Mechatro WeGos Just Arrived: VIVID, Black, White, & More http://ss1.us/a/PXIZ9982

by
http://ss1.us/a/PXIZ9982
We are super excited to receive a new shipment of Mechatro WeGos - the super articulated, die cast / plastic robot figures which we featured at our NYCC booth in October!

We have some new colors available which we've never had before: VIVID (above), Black and White (both below) in the 1/35-scale. We also got some restocks on some of the WeGos that sold out at NYCC, like all the DX figures (with caps) and the elusive Helicopter. We only got 2 more Helicopters and they tend to sell quickly...

The Rust Core by Small Angry Monster

by

Small Angry Monster decided to paint up some toy robots, giving them new life as The Rust Core. Available at 11am PST (2PM EST) on Thursday July 17 and priced at only $10 each plus shipping, these Rust Core robots will be limited to 6 pieces. Each robot has been hand painted using high quality acrylic paint and weathered, giving the robots an aged feeling. These robots will come blind bagged style, which will include one robot and one weapon. Each 6" robot is pose able with the limbs able to detach from the main body. Great work by Small Angry Monster turning these robots into the Rust Core.

Be sure to check out Small Angry Monster's work and available pieces while browsing the store.

Loot Crate's TRANSFORM Month

by

Loot Crate is pretty awesome in general.  But this month they've cranked it up to 11.  June's crate is packed full of robotic goodness.  There's still time to pick one up and at under $20 shipped, you can't afford NOT to buy it.  Or something like that.

Back the March of Robots Art Book Kickstarter by Dacosta!

by
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/chocolatesoop/march-of-robots-art-book-project
Dacosta! is an incredibly talented graphic artist with a strong interest in robots as a subject matter. He has really inspired a bunch of our contemporary artists and illustrators to share their robot artwork, sketches and digital pieces online via his "March of Robots" social media campaign. I know my friends Steve Talkowski and Klim Kozinevich have participated by sharing and tagging their own robot pieces. You can look at all the insanely cool artwork contributed to Dacosta's March of Robots campaign here.

Dacosta is now taking his own robot artwork and compiling it into possibly the most exhilarating and colorful art book I've ever seen- all robots, all the time, front front cover to back!

I have backed this project, the artwork is just TOO COOL to pass up. I want to introduce my kids to art and illustration via books like these. And I can say I know the artist who created it- talk about Cool Dad factor.

The book is the main reward on this Kickstarter, of course, and you can preorder your signed copy for just $30. There are tons of other cool robot-related rewards as well.

There's only 11 days to go, so make sure to act quickly to get Dacosta up to his funding goal! So close!

Little Helpers / Blindbox Robots - by Cris Rose

by
Little Helper by Cris Rose
Cris Rose is releasing some new affordable little resin robots that he's been teasing for a few months now. In between restoring some old Gameboy as part of some project, Cris Rose has created a new set of fully hand painted, 2-3" resin robots, called Little Helpers. Priced at $25 each, these 2-3" Little Helpers feature no articulation or lights, nor can they automatically vacuum the carpet. These Little Helpers are, however, hand painted and feature some great detail and craftsmanship, something that Cris Rose tends to pride himself on.
A Bunch of Little Helpers by Cris Rose(taken from Cris Rose's Instagram Feed)
This first batch of 20 Little Helpers will be sold blindboxed and mostly be painted in winter blues and whites, with a Gold chase thrown into the mix. From the sound of it, this is just the beginning, of what will possibly be a rainbow of available colors in the future, with each released batch containing a gold chase.

This first batch of Little Helpers is going to become available in Cris Rose's online store on Thursday, January 23, at 6PM London Time (10AM PST). Again, each robot retails for $25 plus shipping and will be sold as blind boxed. So, what is shown in the various available pictures does not necessarily represent what will be received.

Full line of plush Bunk Bots coming

by

Bunk Bots are soft handmade fleece plush toys that look like robots. It's about time someone started making plush robots! I personally feel that robots have been slandered as metallic and impersonal. This lineup of plushes totally and completely obliterates all of manki... err. sorry. The Bunk Bots are super soft, super cute, and a heckuva lot cooler than the average plush toy. There will be 10 different Bunk Bots: 5 basic designs, each available in "good" and "evil" versions. Each 8" tall 'Bot has a little backstory on the tag, and the whole line has been safety tested.

We will have these in stock soon, just ordered them at Toy Fair.
Check out their website.
