NYCC Booth 208 - Tenacious Collective: Suburban Vinyl

OK so I've been saving this post. Not avoiding it, just preparing. It's.... big. Suburban Vinyl has a big presence at NYCC and trying to encapsulate everything they are doing, showing and selling is not an easy task.

Below you will find the Suburban Vinyl NYCC Exclusives, the other items they will be selling, their custom show, their guests, their signings, and the live painting that will be happening in their booth. Again, in case it's not clear: Suburban Vinyl is a part of the Tenacious Collective in Booth 208 in The Block at NYCC 2015. One giant booth, lots of stuff happening. Suburban Vinyl Hosting JC Rivera Dead As F#ck Custom Show at NYCC2014

The JC Rivera Dead as F#ck figure is hitting the streets! Launching by way of a custom show at New York Comic-Con, this brand-new resin figure was designed by JC and cast in resin by We Are Not Toys. The Dead as F#ck custom show will kick off at the Suburban Vinyl booth 208 on October 9th. Two different limited-edition exclusive colorways will be available at Booth 208, in addition to the customs in the show. Follow tag #deadasfck on IG to keep up with news and artist submissions to this show.

UVD Sculpt & Swap Series 2: Jc Rivera x Nerviswr3k

Great series...2 left!!!

For the second installment in our Sculpt & Swap series we challenged Jc Rivera and Nerviswr3k work together to create five 3 inch Dunnys for each to paint.

Jc created three original sculpts with heads cast in resin that Nervis took his brush to and created some awesome effects. These figures are as follows Red (2/10), Green (2/10), and Grey (1/10).

Nervis created a series of his now famous monster designs and sent them over to Jc to go to work on. These figures feature some of Jc's signature paint style and are Yellow (2/10), Lime (2/10), and Grey (1/10).

These orignal customs will be available blind boxed on Thursday April 18th at 12 Noon EST in our online store http://www.urbanvinyldaily.storenvy.com for $100 each. These won't last long so make sure you get them early!

JonPaul Kaiser was a saint and whipped up this 4" Munny after I inadvertently left him off my email list when I sent all the vital info to the artists. I will always admit when I do something stupid; such was the case here. Thanks JPK!

SNEAK PEEK: Exclusive Riker's Island Death Row Dunny Series by JCRivera

So upon seeing JCRivera's last (and sold out) custom Dunny series with an inmate theme, we contacted him to see if he'd like to make us an exclusive Riker's Island series along the same lines. Riker's is where they take you when you get arrested in NYC... Here's a teaser! JC will be finished with our series next week. Custom Mini Qees & Fatcaps by JCRivera for our NYCC booth

Customizer JCRivera will be on hand at our NYCC booth (#876) that we're splitting with Toy2R. He'll be signing at 11AM on Saturday October 15th, right before Jon-Paul Kaiser. JC sent us 3 Mini Qees and 3 Fatcaps- pretty unique style he has going on here, with a lot of detail in each piece. You can inspect for yourself at NYCC!
