Crummy Gummy returns to New York Comic Con only this time with some friends! Crummy Gummy’s Four Faced Gummy Bear Show will be taking place at the PIQ Booth #614 located in the Block. He hand selected 8 artists to customize his newest figure and the line up includes: Jon Paul Kaiser, Sugar Fueled, SoKo Cat, Steve Parker, The Drif, Topheroy, MannyX and Obscure. He will also be signing at the booth on Friday at 4pm.

Unearthed Grail by Crummy Gummy x Manny X

Crummy Gummy is releasing an artist series for his newest resin figure "The Four Faced Gummy". The first custom pieces will come from Manny X, titled "Unearthed Grail". New Crummy Gummy and Manny X Release This Friday

Crummy Gummy and Manny X will be releasing a new toy titled "icla" at their webstore this Friday at noon PST. This one is very special tothe two of them for two reasons. 

1) Because this one will be the last one of the series and we will be taking a break to work on a new version later this year. 

2) all the proceeds from the sales of icla will be going to the Icla da Silva Foundation. 

Their mission is to continue adding donors onto the National Marrow Registry in hopes of finding marrow matches for children and adults needing donors in order to save their lives. There is a huge need for more minorities to join the 11 million donors already on the registry, because they only make up 30% and a patients best chances of finding a match is someone who is usually the same ethnicity/race as them. 

Icla will be available at Noon pst Friday 21st and they will stop taking orders at  Midnight PST on Sunday the 23rd. The piece will come in two sizes: Original 3" for $30 and $17 for the mini 1.75".

"City of Industry" by Manny X and Broke1

Totally dig this toy and hope to see more from these guys!

Broke1 and I are coming out with a resin toy line entitled "City of Industry". The story and characters are loosely based on our surroundings. We grew up in City of Industry, CA a town literally built over a landfill and as the name implies is covered with highly industrial factories and shipping warehouses.

"From the smoldering filth of a broken system emerges a dark and disparaging place appropriately named City of Industry. This God Forsaken city was built on top of a grotesque, toxic landfill and riddled with endless rows of grime factories unceasingly spewing carcinogens in the air and dumping poison in the water. City of Industry is a place where even the cloud's sliver linings become muddled through thick cancerous clouds of unbreathable air. This is the city we were born into and this is our story..."

Waste management is a joke in this town, a mere formality. These officials are paid handsomely by factory owners to dispose of their toxic sewage. This dreck is then dumped back into the city, seeping in the already arid land and poisoned water. While factory owners and city officials sleep comfortably miles away from the mess they create, they very workers that slave away in the hazardous conditions of these facilities are the ones that pay the high cost of low priced goods.

Bones & Witches' Stew by Crummy Gummy and Manny X

     

Crummy Gummy announces two styles available today at 12PM PST (3PM EST).  First is Bones.  Dark resin filled with HUMAN BONES!  Ok, not real human bones but you get the idea.  I told you these Gummys were not to be trusted.  Second is the green and black Witches' Stew, filled with all manner of creepy-crawly horrors.

Great news from Manny X...

 

I have a few releases coming out next week.

First up is a collaboration with Broke1

Custom resin Death Vaders limited to only 3 will come packaged in wooden coffins. They are $40+shipping and we be released weds the 31st at 5pm PST.

Second release are custom Gobis called "The Brain Surgeons: Dr. Apocalypse" The will come packaged in handmade blister cards and come with a a glow in the dark vial and cigarette accessory. They are made from vinyl, resin, plastic, enamel and acrylic paints. They will be sold in an open run with a 24 hr window they sell at $50+shipping. These will the second to last edition of The Brain Surgeon and the only one with an open run. They come out Friday the 2nd at noon 

The third are 3 custom Ciboys Destroyers called "Seekers". These will be one offs, they stand about 4" tall and come with a resin pilot for $70+shipping. They are made from plastic, resin, enamel and acrylic paints.

Ah, Gummy Bears.  Lovable little characters and delicious snacks.

WRONG.

Not these Gummys.  These innocent faces hide a pure evil.  These little guys can't wait unleash whatever dastardly plans the conceive on their fellow Bears.  Or YOU!   Take Mustard Gas, for instance.  Designed to trick soldiers of WWI and II into eating them, only to result in terrible chemical burns and blisters.

MannyX presents his Droogies, awesome packaging too!

Here is my next batch of customs. These Droogies are made from vinyl, resin, plastic, enamel, and acrylic and stands about 4" tall. accessories. Its a bit difficult to tell from the pictures but they have a couple layers of gouache that gives it a cool grimy look.  Each comes with cane and cigarette accessories and packaged in a handmade blistercard. The first is " Decapitated Gobi"  The figure stands about 1" tall and about 2" wide at the base. It comes bagged with header card and includes removable cranium top in order expose the glow in the dark brain.

The is a limited run 6 including one chase figure that has a blue GID brain. They are priced at $13+shipping

Next I have laser etched wooden pins, keychains, and necklaces.

Finally I have a couple of back stock Zombie Candy corn from the last Dcon. These creepy little dudes stand at around 3" tall and 2.5" wide. Candy Corn Zombies and Lopsy's

Available tomorrow at D-Con, these spooky Zombie Candy Corn resin sculptures will be available. They stand at aroun 3" tall and 2.5" wide. They are made from a translucent green resin, sculpted by Cash Cannon and painted by Manny X. Each one comes bagged with a header card and sticker. Unpainted versions will run you $30 and the painted version will be $35. In addition, you can pick up a sticker pack for $5. Stop by booth 204 tomorrow to pick yours up.
