Flawtoys Al-Kimia Android Series Coming To VinylRiot

Alchemy may be considered a defunct science, but Flawtoys puts it to use on a series of Al-kimia Androids. 

" "Al-kimia" is the Mystical Essence of the Sacred Art of Alchemy; Alchemists developed theories on the possibility of the transmutation of metals, the philosopher's stone, and creating artificial life in laboratories, as in later medieval European alchemy."

This series of 5 custom androids, featuring sculpting, cutouts, and metallic finishes, releases on Vinylriot.com January 29th at 3PM EST.

ToyHeist Exhibition Amsterdam

Flawtoys and DT Customs are committing a Heist at Concrete Gallery - of the custom toy variety. Custom Stranger and Goon toys from 22 artists, many of which are based in Europe, will be on exhibition November 29th-December 27th.

New Flawtoys War Customs drop today

Dutch artist and Flawtoys proprietor Sander D. has some new customs he calls War Mini Munny dropping today on the Flawtoys eStore. These brutal little fellas march onine at 24:00 CET - which is going to be 6PM EST(3PM PST) today.

I'm especially liking that one in the middle, his mask looks almost like dried peeling leather. Those hatchet and knife weilding ones are looking equally sinister- yet strangely adorable at the same time.

Flawtoys War Customs Series Drops Today

Dutch artist and Flawtoys proprietor, Sander Dinkgreve, is dropping his War Custom series over at Flawtoys eStore.
This custom series is composed of 6 different customs across varying platforms; 7" Munny, 4" Munny, 4" Zukie, 4" Teddy Troop, 3" Dunny and 2.5" Labbit joined by 2 accompanying paintings on canvas.

"The War customs are creatures born into a hostile environment. The creatures all teamed up to form a respective clan. They have wooden mask and patches to prevent themselves from getting killed or hurt." - Sander D.

Each custom is hand sculpted and painted. Each piece features a unique combination of roughly textured, weathered, organic-looking masks and sharp, clean, seamless paint application.
