Sekure D has been busy plotting a takeover! Ok, well it's not so much a takeover since he was invited, but, Sekure D's abstracted mechanized & graphic graffiti-inspired customs are taking Kidrobot locations and online store by storm.
Coming soon to Kidrobot dot com and in-store locations; NYC, Bolder, LA and SF are new release series between 2-5 custom Munnyworld pieces sized 4"and 7". Each piece is individual and unique, one-of-a-kind, so be sure to snap up your favourite before someone else does.
For more pictures and release details see Kidrobot's Announcement, and Kidrobot.com

SekureD has made a giant leap from painted toys to painted walls- but it's not childs' play, Nike Australia in Melbourne commissioned a wall mural for their HQ. This was SekureD's first large-scale wall mural, spanning more than 12' across. He shares some thoughts on the project;
"Last week I was invited by Nike Australia to come down to their HQ here in Melbourne and paint up an AM90 Mural on canvas for an upcoming conference. Because of OHS concerns I only used spray paint on the initial stages of the background after which the rest of the mural had to be done by hand. The finishing touches were done in front of the conference crowd over a couple of hours and I am stoked with how it has all come together. " -SekureD

You can read more and see more progress shots on SekureD's page here.
SekureD's clean graphic linework translates expertly to large scale paintings, I look forward to seeing more of these!

I personally am a huge fan of this style. It bring me into a dreamworld. Love this Munny!
The Codename Unknown Army continues to go from strength to strength! A new custom 7″ Munny entitled “Codename Unknown Munny I” has just been wrapped up and I couldn’t be happier. I am starting to incorporate more of the robot arm pattern which has been so popular with my sneakers over the years and I’m really pushing the detail in the complimentary patterns with extra depth and color. Hope you like this guy as much as I do! I have plenty more in the works so stay tuned!

Amazing piece from Sekure D. Love the combination of his own style with this army style. Awesomeness!
‘Codename Militia’ is the leader of a Codename Unknown Army Squadron whose mission is to eliminate the remaining human strongholds left outside the major cities of the world. After their laboratory created airborne pathogens dramatically reduced the world’s population Codename Militia and thousands of squadrons like his are sweeping the globe taking out humanity as they go! Hope you guys like him, it was fun doing something a little different. -Sekure D

Amazing piece again...
Hey guys, this is my custom 'Codename Blanka' for the upcoming 'Game On' exhibition at 1AM SF on March 22nd. I really tried to go a bit out of my comfort zone on this one, obviously the colors are different for me but there is also a bit more sculpting than I have done on my last few pieces. Hope you like him! He stands a little over 6" and is based by a collection of pieces from different MUNNYWORLD characters.

Sekure D goes resin...
I have learn't a lot of new skills in the last few weeks and I have wanted to start attacking resin for a long time before I jump into other forms of self production. This is my first attempt at a figure, upon reflection I probably should have done something a little simpler but what the heck, I love the deep end......... Don't make that dirty lol. Other than the Bent World hands they are original figures and stand approximately 3.5inches tall. Thank's to some awesome feedback on my Instagram (Sekure_D) I will be selling the 3 of these I will make (4 if I have enough resin) for only $50 shipped which being in Australia I think is fairly reasonable. They are by all means not perfect but being blobs thats ok right?.... RIGHT! These are my learning curve and as such I know there is some collectors of my stuff out there that would want these and I am much happier knowing they are in a good home then having them on my shelves! - Sekure D
