ToyConUK 2015 WIP from PJ Constable

ToyConUK 2015 is only a few weeks away, on April 25th, in London. Artists and companies are gearing up, getting everything ready before the event comes around. Artist PJ Constable has been busy sculpting and casting some ideas, while also creating an idea for a print. PJs latest WIP pics include an army of cast Caterpups, a cast version of an original sculpt and a print with a yet to be decided size. PJ is also working on some custom Munnys, among other pieces that he will have for sale at ToyConUK2015. PJ Constable has definitely grown as an artist in the few years he's been active in the scene and hopefully PJ has a successful convention, so everyone can see more of his work. Expect more information to be released as PJ finalizes paint applications and other projects he is working on for ToyConUK2015.

WIP: Zombie Nughut by Nugglife

WIP photos are always great. A brief look into an artists method and unfinished work. Nugglife's latest WIP photo's of Zombie Nughut shows rough sculpting, some foil, a switch and wires exposed. All of which will likely become hidden and seamless in the completed piece, as with all of Nugglife's pieces. Being built on a MADL head, a full reveal of this piece will be coming in the next week or so. Great insight.

WIP - Teddy Knight Egon by Dust

David Stegmann, aka dust, sent over a WIP teaser of his latest custom Designer Toy called "Teddy Knight Egon". It's always nice to see the WIP workbench of artists. From the pictures, dust re-purposed a Teddy Troop figure to create his latest figure. No word on when dust plans on completing the custom, but it should turn into an amazing completed piece.

Grindhouse Swag x Menace Inc. WIP

From Menace Inc.:

Here is a WIP of the Resin Skull piece and the Headerboard art for the bag that it will be coming in. It is for the "Royale with Cheese" Grindhouse show on September 26th in Lexington NC. This will be limited to 10 pieces. 5 will be painted with a black splatter and heart design and the other 5 will have a red (Blood) splatter design with a black heart design. 15.00 each bagged and boarded. The pieces are hand cast resin 3.5" Tall 5" wide and 1/2" deep and can be displayed standing up.

Ume Toys Sneak Preview for NYCC 2012

Rich Page of Ume Toys dropped us a sneak preview of the Dita the Cat figure he will be debuting at New York Comic Con at the Tenacious Toys booth #3121.  Rumor has it there will be multiple head options.  Can't wait to see how it turns out!
