Creature from the Nth Dimension custom Oreion by Jeff Beck of Menace Inc

Jeff Beck sheares with us a teaser of his custom Oreion Figure, done for the upcoming "Oreion's Arrival" Toy Release Party this Friday August 29th from 7pm - 9pm at his shop Menace Inc. Studios.

The creators Mike and Tracy Lindenthal designed and had their character Oreion produced in 4 different colors: clear, red, blue and glow in the dark. They are 12" tall with a sofubi vinyl head and movable resin tentacles.

Oreion will be released to the public at this release party and on menaceinc.storenvy.com for $45.00 Each.

There will also be a handful of custom painted Oreions that will be available at the show.

Jeff's piece is called "Creature from the Nth Dimension" and will be available for $125.00.

Jeff Beck Dropping the Nostalgia Bomb

I'm going to presume you have fond memories of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles- or at least humour me and pretend you do. Jeff Beck of Menace Inc. Studios must, as he's dropping a Nostalgia Bomb and releasing TMNT-Inspired resin magnets.

The Smooth-On 325 these were cast with have 2-3 colours swirled in them to produce a Jade stone effect. Each piece is individual, and will be available here on September 9th at 11am EST for 15$ea.

7 Seal Sneak Peek: Cash Cannon's 3rd Horseman "Famine"

With a little help from some of our friends, Cash Cannon has been learning a lot about making resin figures this past few months. It's really opening up his skill set to a whole new type of artistic expression. Cash is, by trade, a tattoo artist. This is a WIP shot of his "Famine" sculpt for Menace Inc Studios' 7 Seals Blind Box Series, which will be released locally in one of my favorite states, North Carolina, on Thursday. WHAT ARE THE 7 SEALS?

The 7 Seals are based on the biblical 7 Seals of the Apocalypse. Each of the 7 Seals being broken to usher in that level of the Apocalypse.

1st Seal - Antichrist / The Conqueror(The First of the Four Horsemen)
2nd Seal - War(The Second of the 4 Horsemen)
3rd Seal - Famine(The Third of Four Horsemen)
4th Seal - Death(The Fourth and Final Horsemen)
5th Seal - The Mark of the Beast
6th Seal - Total Global Destruction
7th Seal - The Seven Angels

Each Seal theme was given to one of these awesome resin artists for them to come up with an original sculpt of what that seal meant to them. They will each cast 7 standard versions of their design as well as 1 Chase Variant of their design.

Seal #4: Death Resin Figure by Menace Inc Studios

This is the first full reveal picture for the Death figure by Menace Inc Studios. Made for the 7 Seals Resin Blind Box Series, Death is about 4" tall with his scythe. The figure was cast in resin with an iron coating. Jeff used a special technique to rapidly rust the iron and then seal it to stop the rusting process and fix the look of the piece.

Pictured is the regular version- 1 of 7 made. There is also one chase variant that will be kept a surprise.

Another special one-off version will be part of the big giveaway at midnight. Several of the artists involved in the 7 Seals event will make one-off figures to give away at that magical hour of midnight at the event.

Grindhouse Swag x Menace Inc. WIP

From Menace Inc.:

Here is a WIP of the Resin Skull piece and the Headerboard art for the bag that it will be coming in. It is for the "Royale with Cheese" Grindhouse show on September 26th in Lexington NC. This will be limited to 10 pieces. 5 will be painted with a black splatter and heart design and the other 5 will have a red (Blood) splatter design with a black heart design. 15.00 each bagged and boarded. The pieces are hand cast resin 3.5" Tall 5" wide and 1/2" deep and can be displayed standing up.

MTSMRUNT DCON 2012 Teaser

New customs from Jeff at Menace Inc. Studios are on their way for DCon 2012. Right now we have very little information on this, but we can tell you there will only be five of these "Mini Dude" customs and each one will be bagged with a header card and sold at the Urban Vinyl Daily Booth. Space Case Custom Androids by Menace Inc drop June 21

Jeff Beck from Menace Inc Studios will be teaming up with Urban Vinyl Daily to release the Space Case custom Androids series on June 21st to coincide with the 8 year anniversary of the first private space flight that happened back in 2004.
