Kidrobot is honored to unveil the The Death of Innocence 8” Rocking Horse Dunny by Igor Ventura in three collectible colors. This 8-inch skeletal rocking horse Dunny takes the Dunny platform to new heights with it's innovative take on what a Dunny could be.  Based off Igor’s idea that when you grow up, some of the things that you took for certain when you were a child die. You discover the world isn’t fair, that your parents aren’t always right, that growing up is hard... so a dead rocking horse would represent really well when your innocence dies. 

Decorated in a colorful Dia De Los Muertos style this vinyl Dunny is finished with a dry brushing technique applied by hand to add a unique dirty aged bone appearance to each piece to get the dingy antiqued bone effect that Igor intended.  Coming on the heels of Igor's designs in The Wild Ones Blind Box Dunny Mini Series, this piece welcomes Igor Ventura back into the Kidrobot fold and is sure to add a grown up touch to any collection!

Mega-Hic!-Man for GAME ON Exhibition

Have to say...stunning piece from Igor Ventura for the GAME ON Exhibition. I reckon that we will see some more great stuff of customizers soon. Awesome line up for this show.

Mega man's ability to gain his defeated enemies' powers isn't always welcome. What would happen if he accidentally shot a booze-loving foe? Well, Mega-Hic!-Man is here! Armed with his XXX super alcohol-sprinkler cannon, his enemies won't be match for him... unless his double-vision gets in the way! Mega-Hic!-Man is part of GAME ON, 1:AM's next group exhibition, an art show guided by the video game characters that molded us in our formative years through today.
Characters like Zelda, Pac Man, Bowser, Link, Mario, Contra, Dig Dug, M. Bison, and Metroid are a few examples of of the many that exist. Each of the pieces should approach a character as a reboot, giving it a twist.

Mizzzter REM for Superish by Igor Ventura

Over the last few weeks, the folks at Red Mutuca Studios have been revealing artist creations for their first 3" Dunny Mini Series called "Superish". The latest reveal is "Mizzzter REM" by Igor Ventura.

Description of Mizzzter REM from Red Mutuca:

During the day, he's an average Joe; a hard worker, but he has no girls, no friends and no fun. But then, when the night falls and he is under his sheets, a strange and unexplainable force takes over: his ordinary life is suddenly extraordinary!
Running through the streets, chasing bad guys, bringing justice to those in need! Mizzzter REM, accompanied by his faithful sidekick Leaping Flock, owns the night!
Too bad he can't remember his own adventures when he reads about them in the news…

 

The lines are clean on the pajamas of this little Superish hero and he even comes with a faithful little sheep sidekick(all handmade from scratch, 1 at a time). The nighttime face mask and cape are great accessories and really do this character justice. This series is shaping up to be epic.

Red Mutuca have been releasing a new design every week for the last few weeks, building up to the last release of available blind boxes. A huge amount of the series is already sold out, though previous presales. The remaining 40 blind boxes are going to be highly sought after and probably sell out quickly after being available. Chuck couldn't take it anymore! Just because he was Mommy's boy, all the bullys at school gave him a beating everyday! What could he do? He had no friends other than books, and alone he couldn't stand a chance... Well, maybe if he had a special suit, he could scare off those suckers! His enemies were no match to his brains and some old bottles of kids shampoo! Chuck is now Vintagebot and all the bullys can kiss his plastic ass!

I'm really digging the execution on both of these customs. I especially like the Vintagebot color scheme. These are going to make great additions to what I believe is an ever growing collection of custom chuckboy dunnys, by the private collector who commissioned these.
