Four Horsies of the 'Pocalypse now available in Bigshot Toyshop

I am particularly excited about this release as I took part in almost the entire process as an employee of Bigshot Toyworks - watching the development process, conceptualizing, setting up and running the Kickstarter campaign, creating the website, running the social, overseeing the sea shipment, running trade show booths, and finally helping to fulfill the Kickstarter rewards packages. After a full year, the Four Horsies of the 'Pocalypse are FINALLY available for purchase in the Bigshot Toyshop here.

The Four Horsies are packed in a 4-pack box called the POCAPYPSE NOW Gift Pack and you can pick the Original (painted) Horsies as seen above, or the super limited GID or Clear variants.

Bigshot also release a brand new smaller (Tween) Maddie in a 4" size in several colors: Red Hellfire was the Bigshot NYCC / DCon exclusive, and recently added to their shop is the Purple, Green, GID and Clear variants.

All of the Four Horsies figures and Maddies feature articulation for maximum Pocalyptic playability!

Three Full Days of Music and Mayhem Set to Rock Worcester, MA!

With the weekend quickly approaching, the three day Horror and Music Convention ROCK AND SHOCK (October 16,17 and 18) has announced the final lineups for a killer film festival, meet and greet opportunities with bands, programming to suit fans of all ages and hourly contests and giveaways to assure your weekend is packed with spooky fun AND you leave with a little something extra!

Convention Exclusive NYCC Exclusive Lil Maddie Gray Mist Edition

Convention Exclusive has announced their NYCC Exclusive 4-inch Lil Maddie Gray Mist figure. Part of Bigshot Toyworks' Four Horsies of the Pocalypse line of toys, Gray Mist joins Bigshot's own exclusive, Hellfire Red, as the two 4-inch Lil Maddies that will be debuting at NYCC as exclusives. The Gray Mist Lil Maddie is limited to 500 pieces and will be available at the Convention Exclusive Booth #2654 for $30 each. Lil Maddies come packed in full color window boxes, and Convention Exclusive is offering a bonus Four Horsies tote bag for attendees purchasing their Lil Maddie Gray Mist edition figure at NYCC. SNEAK PEEK: PRODUCTION OF A NEW SET OF TOYS - Four Horsies of the Pocalypse tooling masters

Now that we've wrapped up the Kickstarter to fund Bigshot Toyworks' Four Horsies of the 'Pocalypse line of collectible art toys, the real fun begins! Here you see a couple of images from the factory in the very first stages of production. These are called "tooling masters" and they help the factory properly engineer the figures for production. After this stage is complete, the molds are created. Mold creation will be complete in approximately 45 days.

We will post up more images from the factory as they become available. This is so cool to me... after selling items like this for a decade with no knowledge of how they are made, I finally get the inside peek into the exact processes that go into the creation of a new art toy. I'm excited about it, so I'm sharing with you!

If you missed out on grabbing a 6-inch Maddie (from the first Kickstarter we managed), you can grab one now at the Bigshot Toyshop. We had a good quantity left.... till we sold about 150 to 200 more through the most recent Kickstarter. So the numbers are getting low... Little Maddie is a 6" figure selling at $55.

Bigshot Toyworks announces their Stretch Goals for the Four Horsies of the ‘Pocalypse Kickstarter campaign

Having reached and surpassed their funding goal last week, Bigshot Toyworks has been busy creating fun new Stretch Goals for their backers. The first Stretch Goal awarded free stickers and button packs to certain backers. The second Stretch Goal, which has just been unlocked, is the two pictured Kickstarter Exclusive variant figures of Ghost and Raven, with new head shapes, and a special, super-limited Kickstarter Exclusive color variation.

These KS Exclusive Ghost and Raven figures will only be available as optional Add-Ons to backers of the Four Horsies Kickstarter who have opted for a set (or sets) of the Four Horsies figures, or the Maddie Bust reward. Each figure is offered as an Add-On at a reduced price of $20 per figure. Bigshot will only be producing enough in this colorway to satisfy the Add-Ons pledged by the KS backers.

The Four Horsies Kickstarter ends on February 18th so get your pledges in soon!

Four Horsies of the Pocalypse: Announcing STRETCH GOALS - Teasing the KS Exclusive Variant Figures

Bigshot Toyworks and the Four Horsies of the Pocalypse have announced the next stretch goals for the Four Horsies Kickstarter: at $70K all backers at $100 or more get a FREE 4-button pack and a FREE sticker set!

But the real reason for this post is the next four Stretch Goals: at $75K the first Kickstarter Exclusive Variant Four Horsies figure will be revealed and unlocked for purchase: Ghost! This KS Excl Ghost will feature a new accessory and a Kickstarter Exclusive color variation utilizing the classic Kickstarter green color. Once the Kickstarter hits $75K, backers at $100+ can add $20 to their pledges to receive one of these super limited Ghost variant figures.

At $80K, $85K and $90K, there will be new reveals and unlocks of the rest of the figures: Clash, Calamity and Raven, respectively. Each of these KS Exclusive variant features an additional accessory or a variant head shape, PLUS a KS Exclusive colorway featuring the KS green color.  Above graphic is a silhouette tease of all 4, they will be fully revealed one by one as the Kickstarter hits the various Stretch Goal marks.

These Kickstarter Exclusive variant figures will only be made in a quantity big enough to satisfy the numbers that the Kickstarter backers generate with their pledge Add-Ons. That means these KS Excl variants will be the most limited variations of the Four Horsies figures... probably ever. No one outside the KS backers will be able to buy these.

The Four Horsies of the Pocalypse Almost Ready to Launch on Kickstarter

Well, the Kickstarter to fund the Four Horsies of the 'Pocalypse figures is almost ready to launch! As I assist Bigshot Toyworks in setting everything up, and the video whiz kids are completing the video work, I thought I'd share a bit more news: in this Kickstarter, Bigshot will be selling the Four Horsies figures in one boxed set. There will again be matching colorways: GID (limited to 300 sets) and Spirit World clear (limited to 200 sets). These colorways and production numbers match those of the Little Maddie production run. There will also be the opportunity to pick up Little Maddies along with your Four Horsies sets, in case you missed her the first time around.

Speaking of which... Maddies are just about to be released by the nefarious East Koast Inspektors who are currently examining her from tentacle to fetlock... in search of what, we don't know. All we know is that once she is released upon the world, the 'Pocalypse will truly be upon us! Because we will be launching the Kickstarter for the Four Horsies at exactly the same time as our Little Maddie backers receive their Maddies and other assorted rewards!
