A ton of Skelevex for ToyConUK 2015 by DMS x Alto

Alto and DMS are bringing a bunch of geometric skulls, Skelevex, to ToyConUK2015. Everything from £10 Mini Stone Death Skelevex to a "Pay what you want" Dead Presidents Mystery Edition Mini Skelevex. Not only will they have the Mini Skelevexes, but custom Midi Skelevexes will also be available which are 3.5" in size. There will also be one-off customs by DMS, Jon-Paul Kaiser, Jessica Esper, and RunDMB. For those going to ToyConUK 2015 should be sure to stop by the DMS x Alto booth and check out all the great customs and creations. Also, for those who can't make ToyConUK 2015, some wire versions of Alto's geometric designed pieces are up for purchase on Shapeways, here.

The (In)Action Figures 3 art exhibition at The Clutter Gallery opens Feb 15 - InActionFigures3

The Clutter Gallery are thrilled to announce the third installment in their annual (In)Action Figures art exhibitions, which solely showcases action figure & other retro toy inspired works.

Participating artists include 2bitHACK, 8-bit ZOMBIE, Ben Spencer (Galaxxor), BigMan Toys, Bombermat Toys, Credenda Studios, Danny Frankenstein, Dave Bondi, Death Cat Toys, DLL Customs, DMS, Eric Nilla, Falcon Toys, Fantastic Planet Toys, TheGodBeast, Goodleg Toys, Healeymade, Joshua Ben Longo, Kaboom Toys, Killer Bootlegs, LittleRubberGuys/Plastic !magination, ManOrMonster?, MonstreHero, MuscleThings Laboratories, Nama Niku, Schmucklord, Scott Wilkowski, Scraped Resin, Star Case, Suckadelic, The Tarantulas, Ted Terranova (Rivet Wars), Tone Tank, Triclops Studio, and TrueCast Studio. Artists will be using the hashtag #InActionFigures3 as they post images of their works-in-progress leading up the show.

There will be an opening reception on February 14th, from 6-9PM, at The Clutter Gallery (163 Main St., Beacon, NY) and the exhibit will be on display until March 6th, 2015. The Clutter Gallery will have all pieces available for sale in their physical location and on their website. The Clutter Gallery sends out a newsletter to all users who are registered to the Gallery Preview List, which allows the recipients to view and purchase works before the exhibition opening.

Exclusive Artist Custom MegaSeths for ToyConUK

Lisa Rae Hansen's MegaSeth is hugely popular and even spawned a Tenacious Toys exclusive "Love Monster" edition.  Recently she sent unpainted figures to four of her favorite artists and they returned them as the amazing pieces you see below.  These custom MegaSeths from artists Jon Paul Kaiser, RunDMB, DMS and Mr. Lister will be available at Lisa's I Break Toy's booth (#39) at ToyConUK.  In case you can't make it over the pond to pick one up, Lisa will have any not sold at ToyConUK will be available at her site.  Lisa will also be debuting the first 10 DIY MegaSeths at her booth as well.

Alto x DMS Skelevex premiering at ToyCon UK!

Alto (www.studioalto.co.uk) and DMS (www.monstersandmecha.com) have unveiled their new collaboration, Skelevex, in all its glory.

Picking up on the signature faceted aesthetic of Evil Origami, the angular skull will be making its full debut at April's ToyCon UK.

Dave of the Deep by DMS

DMS made this custom QiQi for the Toycon 2013 project. Awesome work. 

Discovered by the Salty Sea Dog himself - Captain Yampy. This specimen can now be found in the Cornish Museum of Coastal Curiosities. Named by it's discoverer 'Dave of the Deep'. -DMS
