Wreck It Ralph Custom Muttpop Tequila by Jon-Paul Kaiser

Even with Designer Con 2014 later this week, Jon-Paul Kaiser is still getting some commission work done and handed off, before making the long plane ride to Pasadena, California. His latest delivered commission is Jon-Paul's take on Wreck It Ralph, using a custom Muttpop Tequila figure. Jon-Paul was basically provided with an idea by the customer, who wanted a Wreck It Ralph custom, but didn't have a figure in mind for the base. Jon-Paul was drawn to the Muttpop Tequila figure, since Muttpop was one of the first companies which drew Jon-Paul into collecting vinyl toys. Essentially, the Tequila figure makes Wreck It Ralph a buffed out version of himself. Jon-Paul left most of the original Tequila figure in tact, while keeping to a clean and simple design. With a re-sculpted head and expert paint application, Jon-Paul was able to really bring Wreck It Ralph to life. All the photos were taken by Justin Allfree, Jon-Paul's go to photographer. For those heading to Designer Con 2014, be sure to attend one of Jon-Paul Kaiser's signings to not only grab a sketch, but maybe some custom work he may bring along.

Satan's Spawn by Bash Projects

An amazing custom trio from Bash Projects. Love them all!

The devil has one son. A hipster sort horned devil child with flashy clothes. Like a real hipster he is bored to death (pardon the pun) and is fed up with hell. He decided to go to earth to create his own “hell on earth”. His father didn’t like the idea of him going alone so he send two of his best guardians with him to protect him: Hellbound and Native Guardian. They were both condemned to hell years ago and waited for the day that they were going back to earth to raise hell! Is there anybody who can stop these guys or are we all doomed? This devilish trio was created for a private collector and are part of a 5 piece Muttpop showdown between Good and Evil. Things will get heavenly very soon!

Patrulla-X Radioactive Rat Skulls & more coming today!

Patrulla-X is dropping a bunch of great stuff today. I'm especially digging these Radioactive Rats, a 3-part resin figure, limited to just four including the blue chase below. You can see they look really wild in glow mode! These are about 4" tall and will set you back $25.

You'll also be able to score two other versions of this Rat Skull. There is a similar 2-piece black "Oil Slick" version, with the same kind of barrel as Radioactive Rat for $20, or you can pick up a coppery old Rusty Rat on its own for just $10. 

Also being teased on the blog is this 3.25" inch Brain Surgeon custom, utilizing the Muttpop Gobi as a base. He looks like just the kind of sick mind that could have sent all these innocent rats to their doom! There will actually be three of these available for $35 each.
