Luna and the Magical Night Lights Kickstarter New Backer Levels Added

The team of UVD Toys, The Bots, and 64 Colors have been working hard to bring Luna and the Magical Night Lights to life. As we reported on HERE this children's book will tell the story of the character that was produced in vinyl back in 2016. After a little over a week they are over 40% funded and recently added many new custom commission spots to their offerings.

"LUNA AND THE MAGICAL NIGHT LIGHTS" CHILDREN'S BOOK ON KICKSTARTER

UVD Toys and The Bots are back! Last time they launched a Kickstarter together, they brought Luna to life creating a vinyl art toy. Now they are asking fans for help once again to tell her story. Over the past year The Bots have written, polished, and reworked the tale that now gives their once static character depth and purpose. With illustration help of the artist couple 64 Colors, they have painted the imagery of Luna’s world into a magical landscape. They call it the “Lunaverse” and with your help they can turn this dream into a reality!

Their goal is to produce the first ever story set in the Lunaverse with an 8" x 8" hard cover , 22 page, full color children's book printed on high quality paper. They have created a wide variety of Kickstarter Backer Levels rewarding supporters with copies of the book, prints, enamel pins, a Glow in the Dark edition of their Luna vinyl figure, custom painted resin figures, original artwork from The Bots and 64 Colors and so much more!

UVD Toys at Designer Con 2017

For Designer Con 2017 UVD Toys will launch another wave of their Enamel Piñata series of 1.5” hard enamel pins! This release will include two new designs “Berd” from Dave Perillo and “Kitsune” from Jeremiah Ketner. They will also have more enamel pins from the series including Mike Giant, Pez, Flying Fortress, Ally Burke, and Senor Nacho. Grab any of these pins for $10 each or get 3 for $25.

You will also find editions of The Bots x UVD Toys Luna. You can pick up the Long Night and the retailer Blue editions for $60 each or grab both for $100! You will also be able to check out some custom Luna’s from Doktor A, J*Ryu, and MapMap!

Luna 'Long Night' Edition from UVD Toys and the Bots

The wait is finally over for the full reveal of UVD Toys exclusive colorway of Luna by The Bots! 'The Long Night' will be a limited edition of just 75 pieces world wide and are available now for $60 each. Every order you will receive a FREE 'Long Night' Luna 1.25" soft enamel pin.

Long Night Luna stands 6.5 inches tall and is 9.5 inches wide from tip to tip of her antlers. She is made of vinyl and ABS plastic.

Each purchase comes with a free soft enamel Luna (Grey) pin.

More about this piece: "I have hand sculpted a new body, using the original head as a base for the new one and used the original antlers, it was then hand painted by me as well.  She is now called 'Turglar: The Anomalous Apportioner.' Kickstarter is becoming one of the better platforms for artists to gauge interest and fund projects that would otherwise just be a pipe dream. The Bots, Jenn and Tony, have joined forces with the newly created UVD Toys to bring Luna to life. Luna is a creature that has lived in the sketchbook of the Bots for some time now. Developing the sculpt and details over the past 8 months, The Bots and UVD have turned to Kickstarter to help fund the creation of this wonderful creature. With reward tiers ranging from $5 for a button pack, to higher tiers which include different artists customizing Luna for the generous pledgers.
