Big C custom for the Hello Trikky show at kidrobot San Francisco

This custom Trikky from Big C is the All Seeing Sasquatch, but has been given the nickname Small Cheeks by a fan. The eye glows in the dark. It is one of the many pieces in the upcoming "Hello Trikky" show at Kidrobot San Francisco. The opening reception is October 3 from 6:00 - 9:00 pm and you can pick up this piece for $300. The show will be running for a month so if you are in the area, make sure to check it out.

Professorrix Please Paint More Toys

Instagram is super awesome, because not only do I not get solicited weight loss pills and housecleaning services in my feed all day, but I also find really cool creative folks- often with the help of other really cool creative folks. Sculptor @KevinPasko made me aware that painter @professorrix Aaron Rix would do well to paint more toys for us to enjoy.

Aaron is no stranger to painting, though this is the first time he's applied his skills and ideas to a vinyl toy- and it's beautiful. This Egyptian themed Kidrobot Trikky, titled "Jeweled Mummy Mau", looks like it should be behind glass in a collection of ancient artifacts.

P.J. Nightshot custom Trikky by Roar with Lukas

Carson Catlin Is Making Me Dizzy...

Talk about paying attention to the smallest detail. I cannot even begin to imagine the time it took to get each and every single thread put perfectly into place. Carson Catlin has tricked out this 7" Raffy and really made it into a piece of art. I love the contrasting colors of the yellow thread, red exterior and baby blue interior which gives it a great pop. This Raffy named "Futz" was made for Urban Vinyl Daily's "They Came From The Streets 2" show. If you would like to pick up "Futz" he can be purchased HERE.
