Monster Invitational Group Show, July 8th - July 22nd, 2011

FOE has curated a group show paying homage to monsters. The idea of monsters is as old as civilization and what society defines as monstrous changes and morphs through time and culture. Depending on when and where you grew up, it’s likely some version of monster, urban myth or story shaped your fears and nightmares. No one escapes this rite of passage. Come out to see how 20 different artists from westernmass to Japan interpret their own unique fears, repulsions and pleasures. It may sound scary, but monsters are fun too, and fears confronted (or exercised) are fears conquered.

Halfbad Toyz Podiagon now available

Halfbad Toyz has released their new 5-inch resin Podiagon figure which weighs in at a hefty 10 ounces and has 4 points of articulation! Not friggin bad for a startup company's figure! You can buy one of these sweet painted versions, or an unpainted glow-in-the-dark version, here at the Halfbad Toyz webstore. Podiagon comes with a gun accessory and each one is handpainted to order.

These awesome 6-inch resin robot figures are a Smash Tokyo Toys design, brought to life in the mad CT laboratory of Halfbad Toyz! 

Warning: I WILL be gunning for an exclusive colorway run of these figures. It's not set in stone yet but Halfbad and I will be talking soon about that.

Our last collab with Halfbad was a Pearl White run of their Skekiltor figure, and although I'd like to stay consistent, I am aware that Halfbad has a variety of resin color/tint options that they can use. I am open to colorway suggestions!

This 4.5-inch tall, highly detailed resin figure was poured in a special pearl white colorway exclusively for us to sell at our Toystreet table on April 22 in NYC. With a limited run of 20 pieces and a price of just $18, you better make sure you get to our table early to snap one up.
