SKLFKR:UNTOUCHED by Huck Gee, FIRST RELEASE!!

HUCK GEE'S SKLFKR:UNTOUCHED Edition!

Clutter and The Designer Toy Awards are excited to announce the first colorway release of the epic Huck Gee design – SKLFKR:UNTOUCHED!!

Standing at 20 inches tall... TWENTY INCHES (24 to the top of the axe), this beast of skull-laden, robotic awesomeness, is set to make its international debut in the market this FRIDAY, July 28th! 

Produced in an all white (Untouched) version – not specifically a DIY, more of an unpainted beauty –  it has 11 points of articulation, a detachable axe, and a face that opens to reveal a driver's seat! That said, it does make a great canvas, so we are super excited to see some amazing custom pieces.

They partnered with 3D experts Cubo to make this gigantic work of robotic art. Cubo 3D sculpted, rendered and printed this mighty beast. Not only that, they engineered and constructed a series of 3D printed custom rubber gaskets in order to make it plug together and give it 11 points of articulation!! 

and poured and assembled in New York at Clutter Studios, this mecha-colossus is produced in a mixture of solid and roto-cast white resin.

Adopt a SnodBOT kickstarter by Craig Snodgrass

The first SnodBOT - Duppy - was illustrated and designed by Craig Snodgrass. Craig Snodgrass is an artist who draws uncannily human robots. Snodgrass' robot illustrations have a distinct style and expression that make a connection to people from all walks of life.

Snodgrass has been drawing these robots (SnodBOTS) for years, but now it is time to take these characters beyond the page and into the 3rd dimension. 

Your contributions will primarily go towards getting the toy manufactured. If they exceed their initial goal some funds may go towards increasing the production run. Funding will also go towards rewards, marketing costs, packaging and shipping costs.

Ideally the toys will be ready for shipment by December 2016 or January 2017. Having limited quantities of these will make them highly collectable among toy and art collectors alike. Think of these as three dimensional limited edition prints.

WIP of a Custom Sculpture by dust

German based independent artist "dust", aka dirty dust(David Stegmann), sent out a WIP teaser of his latest custom. Dust is Swiss-German artist who has been heavily influenced by the urban and street art scene, while also trying to develop his own unique style. Dust has been creating murals, paintings and customs for many years now, with his contemporary style being viewed as having elements of surrealism, neo-surrealism, and abstract art.

Dust's latest WIP photo is of a figure that stands at 33cm, or around 13 inches, roughly bigger than a 1/6th scale action figure. The head is a customized Nozzel Squadt, while the body is a self produced articulated figure. Not much else is known at this time, but as more information becomes available, we will be sure to share it with you.

Custom Articulated Sawtooth Battle Beasts minifigures from Sandtastic Toys now available

Just announced via the Sandtastic Toys FB page, two new minifigures by Sandbagger Jr Deem.  The Sawtooth Battle Beasts comes in two fantastic color ways, crystal clear Stealth resin and Keshi metallic blue urethane.  Both feature articulated arms, just like the original figures!
