Nugglife 420 Drop: Mini Grow Boxes & Northern Lights Mini Nugs

 

Miniature Grow Boxes - above is a little WIP of the grow boxes dropping 4/20.  Each one stands about 2.75 inches tall, and has an LED that till turns on and off from the top.  More info on pricing will come in a couple weeks. Will be available on www.nugglifeny.com.

Finally the time has come for the Nugglife custom joggers and if you know Ian, space pants have been a thing of his for a few years.  These custom cut n sew space pants feature the northern lights theme all around.  Made with a premium blend, each are super soft and perfect for a morning wake and bake. Your "Leading Artists" Deserve More Accurate Representation

Puffpipes.ca Boast Industry Leading Artists

This ad published 18/09/2014 in the Vancouver (BC) paper was brought to my attention by fine artist Camilla- long time friend to the Designer Toy industry, exemplifying the care we as a community have for each other. Designer Toys is a small, tightly-knit community.

21/09/2014 With the availability of more accurate information, some clarification is needed.

Puffpipes (.ca) are toting an advertisement depicting an un-credited glass sculpture, and pipe. It's not difficult to identify the form of the hand-blown glass sculpture is derivative, and even a reproduction of, the Kidrobot Munny and Bot platform- two of Kidrobot's most internationally recognized product lines.

What's not immediately visible in the advertisement would be the artist(s) responsible for a piece Puffpipes.ca boast as a representation of their industry's creative leaders. I take issue with Puffpipes.ca 's portrayal of an unspecified reproduction of a designer toy form, as a reflection on their industry, without appropriate context. It gives the impression that Puffpipes.ca would have readers believe these designs are singular to their product lineups, and wholly original to the "industry leading artists" whose work they represent and sell.

The originating artists Coyle & Slinger are fully transparent about the origins of their works, and their relationships to Kidrobot.

When this information is withheld from distributor's advertisements, website, social media & informational outlets, it muddies responsible advertising practice. Artists distributing through retailers like Puffpipes.ca may be wary of the efficacy of the promotion they may receive, or the communication of their practice.

NUGGLIFE 4/20 Release: Mini Nugs

 This Sunday 4/20 at 4:20pm EST, Ian will be launching new customs on his site.   

They will be a total of 4 custom Dunnys and Mini Nugs Series 3.   The custom Dunnys include a Cheech and Chong set, Nuggs ("the Golden Nugget")  and a "hydroponics grow dome." Prices range from $130 to $300. 

Deadbeet Grams by DopeVinyl

Designed by Scott Tolleson and sculpted by George Gaspar and painted by Dopevinyl, these "Deadbeet Grams" are up to no good. Each 1.5" custom hand painted deadbeet comes sealed with it's own header card made by Komega.
