Air Bass Robo by Teru Fujita

 We've had Teru Fujita in one of our shows (Candy Coated Custom Show) and recently I ran across a sweet piece he did for Peter Kato's Bedtime Bunnies show at MPH. In addition to being a talented musician, Teru is pretty much a mechanical genius. All of his pieces feature moving parts, electronics, and sometimes sounds or music. Lots of buttons, switches, doors. It's all drawn out by schematics beforehand, and then handcrafted, part by part. It's... pretty fucking intense. Look at the parts below for Air Bass Robo:

Vulkira 8-inch Vinyl Toy Robot figure on Kickstarter

Eric Smith (fullblownink.com) channeled his influences and interests into creating Vulkira, his first designer vinyl toy concept. Vulkira is 8" tall and was inspired by Eric's favorite giant Japanese robots.

Vulkira™ will be produced by Unbox Industries. If all goes well with this project, Eric plans to produce a 24" vintage jumbo style Vulkira in the future.

Limited to 300 pieces with a Shogun Warriors colorway, Vulkira will stand 8" and will have 3 points of articulation as well as removable fists and drill and missile launcher attachments.

Machine Type AW177-Stealth Edition prints by Allen Wen

Allen Wen recently announced his Machine Type AW177-OO1 tee available for pre-order from our friends at Outsmart Originals.  The tee features an eye-catching cross between samurai and a giant robot.  Attendees of the New York Comic Con will have access to even more Wen greatness.  Allen will have 11" x 14" giclee prints of his Machine Type AW177 - Stealth Edition variant.
