Banimon Announces New Red Army Men & Banigoth Warriors for 12/22

by

It truly is a wonderful time to be a Glyos fan. Planet Banimon was one of the first to release their own exclusive colorways of the original Glyos figures, and they were also one of the first to produce their own Glyos-compatible creations in PVC. Their Red Army Men and Banigoth Warriors combine perfectly with the universal peg and socket system, while retaining their own unique style.

The first colors, olive green and black/red are shown above, combined with other Glyos Universe bits. Due to popular demand, and because the first run sold out in mere days, Banimon has finally announced a second run of three new colorways.

The latest round, including bright red, white, and silver are set to drop in the Banimon Store on Saturday, December 22nd at 9:30pm EST. Each color comes with both heads and they all feature terrific factory painted detail lines and tampo prints.

Printed Matter show at Giant Robot - GR2 12/17/12 - 1/9/13

by
The next show at Giant Robot's gallery, GR2, is called Printed Matter. The show is based around the creation of multiples, both in 3D and 2D. In most respects, society owes a lot to the technology behind the original printing press, which allowed the rapid creation of multiples, with regards to Printed Matter. Whether or not this show has anything to do with this thought, I imagine that there will be lots of great art to be seen and purchased. The opening reception for this show is on Friday December 22nd from 6:30-10PM, with the actual show running from December 17th to January 9th, 2013. If you're in the LA area, head on down to GR2 and check it out.

A 3D example of multiples from Scott Wilkowski. Based on the Giant Robot Big Boss Robot, Scott Wilkowski once again applies his Infected resin theme to this great little piece.

Pine Cone Snow Cones by Jeremyriad

by
Jeremyriad has created cool looking snow globes using the iconic Brutherford Ice Scream cone, in a Pine Cone colorway. Complete with snow and water, the cones have been weather proofed for long lasting enjoyment of the snow globe. They even come packaged in a festive red take-out container with a label for writing "To:" and "From".  For $25 plus shipping, these are some very cool snow globes that would be great on any shelf, all year round. Unfortunately, if you are not in the US, these can't be shipped to you. As of this posting, there were only a few left, so hurry on over to Jeremyriad's store and snag one for yourself or as a gift for a special someone.

Davemarkart's Owl and Toyer Qee

by
This guy is rocking his customs so fast that I sometimes totally miss customs from him. Both are experimental customs from Davemarkart, since he is doing normally an other style and he only painted the Qee.

Jc Rivera is popping the customs out like a machine. Here are the last two 3 inch Dunny's that he made. The first one has a great dark feeling and the other one is a colorvariant on his brown Bearchamp Dunny that he made before.
