ICYMI: Latest Work by Nugglife from NYCC 2015

With NYCC 2015 now in the past, there are a lot of great pieces that didn't sell out during the convention. Nugglife brought a lot of resin pieces with him to NYCC 2015 and there are still a good number of pieces left to purchase. First up is a part of the Nugglife Resin series which includes a number of pieces. The Blue Hustle Series features 3 different variations of Mr. White. A sold out Full Color version is priced at $100, while the Blue Faced is priced at $80 and the Mr. White Rocks version (all blue) is only $60. Each piece stands around 2.5" and comes with some nice accessories. Also Sold out is a Nuggs Smoking piece, while the Nuggs Trimming Station is still available and priced at $100.

In addition to the Resin series offered by Nugglife, are a number of great custom pieces. 3 Vomiting Dunnyeaters titled Overload, are priced at $140 each and feature different colored 3" custom Dunnys with a resin accessory. "Approaching the Prey" features 2 Nuggyeaters about to feast on some greenery. Also sized at 3", these Nuggyeaters are also priced at $140 each. Nugglife also created some custom MADL growrooms called "Nature Growrooms:, each made out of a 5" MADL. With all the intricate work and details put into the Growrooms, these are priced a little higher at $325 each. If all the pieces weren't enough to tickle the fancy of the art community, Nugglife also brought along some new t-shirts which are also for sale, priced at $25 a piece. Nugborg 2420 Custom 3" Dunny by Nugglife

Nugglife, Ian Ziobrowski, recently completed a commission titled "Nugborg" 2420. This custom 3" Dunny has been re-sculpted to create a Half-man and Half-Machine Nugg, who has been fully reconstructed for survival. Growing, trimming, and distributing is no problem for Nugborg. Another prime example of survival of the fittest. Nugglife's legend lives on. Hit up Nugglife if interested in creating another version of Nuggs.

Hopeless XMas Dunny Set by Nugglife

One of Nugglife's latest creations is the Hopeless XMas custom Dunny set. Including two of Nugglife's favorite character's Smokin Clause and Nuggyeater, these pieces were hand sculpted and painted. Smokin Clause was spotted by Nuggs, lost in his travels due to a big snowstorm. Now Smokin Clause needs help to find his way, before Nuggyeater finds him. This set is already sold.

Smokey custom Munny by Ian Ziobrowski

 "Smokey's Pleasant Day" is one of Ian Ziobrowski's most recent customs completed for a group show. This one was for the Most Wanted: Behind the Hype show at 1AM Gallery in San Francisco.

Adding to the fine collection of NUGGLIFE I introduce "Smokey" the biggest hippy in town. This guy is always wondering around searching for the finest crop in town. Unfortunately his paranoia dominates his cool ninety percent of the time, thinking the whole world is watching him. SO pretty much..... he's useless.

Sick details on this piece, as always. Ian manages to tell an entire story in one custom toy. Amazing. I wonder if Smokey is friends with Nuggs? Seems like Nuggs' business-oriented mind, and busy daily schedule, might harsh Smokey's mellow...

Ian Ziobrowski NUGGLIFE Paintings

 In a season when many artists are slowing down, Ian Ziobrowski is gathering momentum. In addition to an epic-scale custom project he's nearly completed (and we'll be selling on our site), Ian has begun working regularly in oil on canvas. He plans on regularly creating oil paintings to accompany his toy releases. Here are his two most recent paintings: above is a delicately rendered Jesus painting, part of a NUGGLIFE triptych he's completed.

And the Nuggs painting above is a study for a custom 8" Dunny commission that I an will be working on for a client. I honestly have no idea how Ian has enough time to get all this stuff done, but I do know that he has a brand new studio out on Long Island where he's been working away. I am very much looking forward to helping Ian promote and sell his upcoming projects- I'm constantly impressed with the work he does!

Nuggywolf custom Kracka by Ian Ziobrowski

Ian Ziobrowski shares with us his latest custom (which I will be checking out in person tonight at the Kidrobot store in NY): "Nuggywolf", based on the 4-inch KR Kracka platform. 

This is what happens when Ian's signature character Nuggs starts hanging out with Team Jacob. 

(Come on, you KNOW Team Jacob is off in the woods cultivating their crop half the time. Seriously, think about it.)

NICE details in the claws and teeth, and PERFECT paint, as usual- this is an expertly executed custom and we expect nothing less from Ian. Wait till you see images of the large-scale commission he's been working on for a few months...

Tenacious Toys Custom Marshall Blind Box Series reveal: Ian Ziobrowski

Ian Ziobrowski is an art student and also works at Genuine Artikle on Long Island. His main character, Nuggs, has taken many forms over the past couple of years. Ian has customized a whole range of different platforms into detailed iterations of Nuggs, and each time he reveals his amazing talents as a sculptor and painter. Look for Ian's Nugg Life website to go live soon. We are very proud to call Ian a friend, and to have him as a part of our Marshall custom series.
