The Godbeast drops 5 new Kabuto Mushi MkII colorways tonight at 8pm CST!

The Glyos Universe has been waiting patiently for the second wave of Kabuto Mushi production figures from The Godbeast and tonight at 8pm CST in the online store, he is delivering no less than 5 new colorways! The 2 Kansas City Planet Comic Con and Chicago C2E2 exclusives will be available for limited online purchase, as well as three entirely new colorways that we've been seeing sneak peaks of for the last couple weeks.

All KM Mk II figures are about 4.5" inches tall and consist of 26 Glyos-compatible PVC/ABS pieces.

GITD, Metallic/Pearlescent Black, & Ultra Silver will have a strict limit of 3 per customer.

The 2014 Kansas City Planet Comicon & Chicago C2E2 exclusive Metallic/Pearlescent Purple & Metallic/Pearlescent Blue will have a strict limit of 2 per customer.

Kabuto Mushi in Full Production on January 3rd from The Godbeast!

This first official release of the Kabuto Mushi is an event that has been years in the making. Through numerous prototypes and handcast resin releases, Marty "The Godbeast" Hansen has worked closely with Matt Doughty of Onell Design to create a Glyos compatible version of his Kabuto Mushi character and release it for the masses in full production PVC.

The Kabuto Mushi is approximately 4.5 inches tall and consists of 26 parts that are fully compatible with the Glyos System Series of toys. There are four different colorways to start with, and each of them are just $10. There are even Mini Mushi 4-packs and handcast resin wings available to upgrade your Kabuto army!

Mini Galaxxor and MEGAKESHI Galaxxor Release 11.19.13

Although things have been relatively quiet, as of late, in the Galaxxorverse, a good bit of stuff has been going on behind the scenes. Thanks mostly in part to my friends The Godbeast and the rest of the gang at True Cast Studio (which I recently had the chance to visit!), the next evolution of Galaxxor is in the works! The original sculpt has been greatly refined (courtesy of the mighty Josh Edwards), and there have been leaps and bounds made, in terms of producing the figures in a keshi-style rubber. As a result, I have a few 1/1 prototype Megakeshi 5.5″ Galaxxors (each with 3 interchangeable heads, including one by the mighty Matt Doughty!), as well as a large selection of 2″ Mini Galaxxors (sculpted and cast by none other than The Godbeast, himself!). Some of these pieces are suuuuper rare, and you’ll have your chance to score them for your very own on 11.19.13 at noon CST.

The Godbeast Glyos Armorvor Bio Infection Preview

The Godbeast has previewed his next official head for the Glyos-compatible Armorvor figure. Sculpted by TGB based on sketches from Glyos creator Matt Doughty, these Bio Infection pieces fit into a theme already built on with earlier resin Bio-Jumper creatures and Infection figures, such as the clear red Infection Armorvor released at C2E2 this past month. Part of what makes Glyos so great is the continuing storyline and great amount of thought put into every sculpt and colorway. As a collector, you can choose to dive right into it, or ignore it completely while making up your own stories and characters.

No word yet on how soon they will be available or exactly how, but TGB will most certainly be dropping more info on one of his pages or at the October Toys Forum shortly.
