New Sphynx Light & Mini's release from Marcos Lorenzo

The Sphynx Maneki Neko Light version and the Mini Sphynx versions, Light and Dark, are the latest limited series from Marcos Lorenzo.

Sphynx Maneki Neko Light version is the same as the original one but in different color skins. Mini versions are scaled versions of the bigger ones but with some little differences: mainly the Maneki Neko has a magnet in its paw that helps it to hold metal stuff like metal bottle caps or so. Another thing is that it’s possible to order any of the Sphynx cats without tattoos.

Sphynx Maneki Neko Light is the same size as the original, a limited series of 30 units, homemade handcrafted resin toys, 150mm 5.9 inches high, painted with acrylics, tattooed with transfer techniques and various attached rivets (plastic / metal) studs and spikes. Mini versions are 100mm 4 inches high and similar characteristics, also limited series of 30.

This sculptures are world wide released and available now at the SomeStrangeThings Store at the price of 150€ and 50€. Deliveries are planned in about two months but there will be some copies available at ToyConUK2018.

Death is Punk - new release from Marcos Lorenzo

Marcos Lorenzo has just released his  Obskure DEATH IS PUNK Limited Edition, a new version based on the Obskure platform but this time with no flesh, and that means no tattoos. 

It’s a limited series of 25 units, homemade handcrafted casted resin toys, 1/10 170mm 6.7 inches high, painted with acrylics,  zipper and various attached rivets (plastic / metal) studs and spikes, and the diabolic-anarkist-whatever logo printed on her leather jacket. Skull and ribs are 3D printed, so ribs are hollowed. 

The purpose of this work was to create a strong contrast between the sexy shape visible from behind and the vacuous eyes of TheDeath when looking her face to face. She may look attractive and mysterious and maybe she wants to play with you a little ... It's exciting and you'll probably like it ... until she bites your heart..  deeply.

This sculpture was presented like the recent releases the past Sunday 30th April during the ToyCon UK and now it’s world wide released and available from now at the SomeStrangeThings Store at the price of 100€.

Marcos Lorenzo is back with his newest release, Obskure White Limited Edition, a new version based on his Obskure platform in white tones, with blue eyes and red realistic hair.

This is a limited series of 25 units, handcrafted casted resin toys, 1/10 170mm 6.7 inches high, painted with acrylics, tattooed with transfer techniques, white zipper and various attached rivets (plastic / metal) studs and spikes.

Marcos Lorenzo announces "All Pain & No Gain" as a ToyCon UK 2017 Exclusive

Marcos Lorenzo is happy to share with you his new release for ToyCon UK 2017, called “All Pain & No Gain”. This is a commissioned series of 10 units, with 8 units available to the public exclusively at the ToyCon UK 2017. 

This piece intended to reflect a balance between strength and weakness, or how it’s important not to be a winner but to keep fighting. Maybe a homage of those people who continue getting up one time and another despite having fallen. It’s an inner fight and an inner win. And this is translated to the body pose, where the balance of the figurine was one of the more difficult points to solve because of the S shape of the body and the aligned legs and arms.

This pieces is a hand crafted resin Toy with faux leather, fabric and acrylics.
Each piece is 1/6 scale standing 250mm (9.9 inches) tall.
Series of 10 units: 2 commissioned pieces and 8 more open to public.
