The 28-year-old Austrian artist STAS releases his twisted version of a Maneki Neko sculpture in an edition of 10 handmade pieces. With an aesthetic rooted in do-it-yourself and punk and his main interest in transforming the meaning of existing characters and Objets Trouvés, STAS turns his attention to the Maneki Neko and transforms it into a symbol of fear.
