Coming this Saturday (Dec. 3rd), Guzu Gallery (Austin, TX) will host a very special one-day-only soft vinyl art toy show, curated in collaboration with Violence Toy and Krotpong Industries. With the show themes being black plague, funerals, winter, and death, some of the greatest and most talented artists in the kaiju scene (list below) were asked to follow a pair of plague doctors on their dark journey to inspiration. This sounds freaky already!
Sales at the gallery will begin as soon as the doors open (3pm), unsold pieces will be available on the store's website for a limited time. Those of you who are in Austin will not only be able to pick up the works right after the show, but also to have a close look at Strange Beasts IV — the 4th in Guzu’s highly successful series of kaiju & Japanese pop culture themed group art shows, opening Friday (Dec. 2nd) night. Make sure to check it out!
Saturday, December 3rd, 3pm-6pm,
Live musical set from The Del-Vipers.
Admission is free, all ages are welcome.

We are very excited to have a number of items from both Japanese artists and American artists, all produced in Japan. Sofubi is soft vinyl made in Japan, so acquiring items like this is always a little harder than the typical purchase for us. Luckily we have some sofubi artists who still think we are cool, and here are their offerings - all exclusively painted / executed for our booth:
In addition to the plethora of beautiful Rampage Toys exclusives listed above, Jon Malmstedt will be bringing in another huge set of his pieces for his signing at 10AM on Saturday morning. As always, Jon's items are first-come, first served so if you're looking to pick up his "special" pieces, you will have to show up at Booth 309 at 10AM sharp on Saturday.
