FIVE POINTS EXCLUSIVE #5: Tenacious Toys Snapback Caps for $15

We had 6 different color variants of these Tenacious 59Fifty snapbacks created for Five Points (props to Joe aka Hungryghost).

Orange, Blue and Pink embroidery on both black and gray caps.

We are going to pick ONE version of these to sell in our shop this year, and the general consensus is that the gray cap with pink embroidery is the coolest, so that'll probably be it. ALL OTHER COLORS will remain limited to what we have now, which is 2 units per color!

FIVE POINTS EXCLUSIVE #4: Forces of Dorkness Vader Moths

Our fourth Five Points Exclusive reveal is this giant 13" wide resin Vader Moth figure by Forces of dorkness. Pictured above is the “Emperor Moth” and the other 4 are named just by their colors: “Pink” “Green” “Purple” and “Yellow”. Pics below the map.

Each moth is 13” wide,  9” tall and about 2” deep and each one weighs just a smidge over a pound.  They are 100% resin and hand painted.  

Cast from an original sculpt by Forces of Dorkness. These are the only 5 (each one of a kind!) as the mold was destroyed after they were cast.  Each “Vader Moth” comes with a limited edition FOD sticker pack and the new FOD fabric patch.

FIVE POINTS EXCLUSIVE #3: UME Toys Little Miss Pressure Pot Gray

The third exclusive we are revealing is this Little Miss Pressure Pot figure by Rich Page aka UME Toys. This is a 2.5" tall resin figure which comes bagged with a header card and a custom sticker. The second exclusive we are revealing is this red resin Switchface Pill Drone by Nerviswr3k.

Five Points Festival returns June 2 with a new home in Brooklyn NY!

New York, NY (April 19, 2018) – Five Points Festival, a designer toy, street, and alternative art festival is excited to announce the return of the much-anticipated event for 2018! Taking place the weekend of June 2-3rd, 2018 - at the awesome Brooklyn Expo Center, the festival will bring together the shining stars of the Designer Toy, Kaiju & Sofubi, Craft Beer, Food and alternative art worlds.   Featuring a dynamic lineup of counterculture artists and artisans from around the world. The event is a 2-day celebration of toy designers and customizers with an extensive international Neo-Kaiju and Sofubi section, original street art, independent comic artists,  gourmet food trucks and craft beer presented by Clutter Magazine and sponsored by 50 Years of The Outer Spacemen, and Lagunitas Brewing Company. Enthusiasts familiar with art toys will have the chance to meet some of the world’s most iconic artists and brands like Huck Gee, Instinctoy, Kidrobot, James Groman, Jason Freeny, Ron English, Super7, Tara McPherson, and Mighty Jaxx on the show floor, where they will be featured alongside artists from the U.S., Japan, Germany, Korea, the U.K. and elsewhere, some showcasing in NYC for the first time, and all with unique, original pieces for sale. Anyone who has attended mainstream art shows or comic cons will find something completely unique at Five Points – a gathering of visual innovators, rebels, creators, and the misfits that are driving the future of commercial & counterculture art. 7th Annual Designer Toy Awards Finds a New Home at Five Points Festival

The Designer Toy Awards are super excited to announce a brand new home for the prestigious annual DTA ceremony – Five Points Festival! The antidote to the average con, Five Points brings tastemakers, misfits, and rebels together with the new, retro, and infamous, in a one-of-a-kind gathering. 

A collision of toys, comics, and counterculture curated by Clutter Magazine and presented by Midtown Comics, Five Points is two days and nights of comic artists and writers, vinyl and plastic toys, original art, resin, plush, blind boxes, graphic novels, indie comics, blanks, minis, kaiju, Japanese vinyl, posters, prints, apparel, food trucks, and craft breweries.

Taking place May 20th and 21st at Pier 36, in New York City's lower east side, the festival is kicked off by The Designer Toy Awards on Friday, May 19th!
