Taylored Curiosities' newest creation are the Nomads. The first one, Marjorie, sold in 24 hrs and she has added Ezinne to my online store.

Ezinne just loves this time of year. Her favourite colour is orange so the changing leaves really make her happy. She loves to adventure; taking her little baby with her wherever she goes.

Nomads are handmade art dolls who love adventure.

Petrichor Subconscious Dwelling by Taylored Curiosities Available Now

Emotions can dig in deeply to our subconscious minds; rooting themselves so far down that we struggle to remember what first caused them. If we can't remember what caused them it can be hard to heal ourselves or find solutions. Don't be too afraid to confront your feelings. Be brave, face them head on and find a way to resolve them. You are strong and you can do this.

The house stands at 9" tall and is completely hand made from plastic, plaster and paint. Old letters add a vintage feel to the inside.

All furniture is removable. The working light is attached by a magnet and is battery powered so you can simply twist off the back of the light and replace if it runs out. 
Furniture consists of: 

• Table 
• Plant pot with twig tree 
• Real handmade illustrated book of shadows 
• Ceramic cauldron 
• Jar of crystals 
• Double bed complete with vintage bedding

Every aspect is completely handmade. These houses are unique as are all the furnishings.

Subconscious Dwellings is my personal exploration of our inner minds. We are all unique and therefore it makes sense that our subconscious minds are also unique. 
Each 'dwelling' is set up to be a functional, art doll house, whilst also being a unique piece of handmade art.

New work from Plaseebo for "Sacred Curiosities" show

 “Shrine To Self”  Mixed media and found objects in a hand crafted wood case.

Plaseebo will have 2 new assemblage works in the "Sacred Curiosities" show opening this Saturday afternoon from 4 to 7 PM at Main Street Arts Gallery in Clifton Springs N Y.

This wide-ranging invitational exhibition includes the work of thirteen artists. Through sculpture, painting, and drawing, this exhibition is a meditation on the meaning we assign to things.

Introducing Dandys by Jen Musatto

We are pleased to bring to you work by Chicago artist Jen Musatto. Jen has been making dolls for 8 years and showing them at galleries around the world. Her new doll line, The Dandys, has become popular among toy collectors like Windy aka @igypsywoman who just happens to be a fantastic toy photographer. These images of Jen's Dandys were taken by Windy.

Jen is currently showing her work at Stranger Factory, Alexi Era Gallery, and Curly Tale Fine Art. She will have a few pieces available at Curly Tale Fine Art for their "Dog Days of Summer" group show in August and 5 new Halloween themed pieces for "Bewitching VI" at Stranger Factory this coming October.
