We've had Teru Fujita in one of our shows (Candy Coated Custom Show) and recently I ran across a sweet piece he did for Peter Kato's Bedtime Bunnies show at MPH. In addition to being a talented musician, Teru is pretty much a mechanical genius. All of his pieces feature moving parts, electronics, and sometimes sounds or music. Lots of buttons, switches, doors. It's all drawn out by schematics beforehand, and then handcrafted, part by part. It's... pretty fucking intense. Look at the parts below for Air Bass Robo:
This is a animatronic, music-playing robot. Teru never duplicates his work, so this is a one-off.
