"You Missed a Spot" Custom 8" Dunny by Jeremy Regan

Jeremy Regan, artist from Wicked Skinny Studios, created a custom 8" Dunny for the upcoming G40 Art Summit happening in Washington DC. The G40 Art Summit will have a month long exhibit with this years theme revolving around the creation of multidimensional pieces. Artists are encouraged to expand boundaries and grow possibilities. Jeremy Regan decided to create a custom 8" Dunny which features a head that can be rotated to display 2 different faces, while the body also features 2 sides. Titled "You missed a spot", this custom 8" Dunny was created using oven bake clay, acrylics, inks and glow in the dark paint. Essentially, there are 4 ways to display the Dunny, night or day. In addition to the custom Dunny, Jeremy also modified a Kozik Monger and some vinyl eggshells to complete the overall theme of the piece.
For those in the DC area, be sure to head on down to Blind Whino and check out the G40 Exhibit between September 14th and October 4th, 2014. There are a ton of other artists who contributed to the exhibit. For more info, check out the Art Whino post here.

25 Cent Wonders Prints by Patrick Ballesteros

Patrick Ballesteros always has some wonderful affordable prints for sale. For SDCC 2014, Patrick released a new series of prints called "25 Cent Wonders". A lot of younger generation kids may not understand the reference but there was a time when 25 Cent ride type machines existed outside of every supermarket or major store. Now a days, these machines can typically be found in some malls. These machines cost 25 cents to ride and would typically light up, make sounds, and move back and forth, capturing the attention and imagination of a young one sitting on the short, yet entertaining, ride. Patrick created this series as a salute to these 25 cent wonders, using famous characters and vehicles. Each print measures at 6" x 8" with rounded corners and is priced at only $8, plus shipping. To make these prints more enticing, Patrick provides a promo code for an additional discount on the 25 Cent Wonders prints. Just enter the promo code "WONDERFUL14" in the appropriate box during checkout. Be sure to check out all the 25 Cent Wonders up in Patrick's online store, there is something for everyone.

The extremely limited edition part-resin / part-vinyl Madl measures 7 inches high and available to only 10 pieces worldwide with one original sculpt.

AW177 Legendary Outlaw shirt by outsmART Originals

Now you can represent the Legendary Outlaws with this new design by artist AW177 aka Allen Wen.  Roaming the universe leading a rag tag group of mercenaries as the galaxy's protectors, the Legendary Outlaw, who was wrongly accused as being a traitor, is looking for support. His iconic helmet, recreated with incredible detail, has now been captured on this new t-shirt and will be made available for a limited time. In typical Outsmart Originals fashion, we've gone that extra step and added the hero's blasters (screen printed) on the back of our high quality tees.

Time is short and this design will only be made to order and once they're gone, they're gone for good, so pre-order yours today to guarantee the size you need. The shirts will be shipping on October 3rd, just in time for the upcoming New York Comic Con! Show your support for the outlaw and reserve your tee today!

Screen printed on the front and back for men on ultra cotton t-shirts for superior durability and classic fit; and women, the design will be printed (front & back) on super soft tees.
An incredible followup to AW177's 'Year of the Snake' and 'Machine Type', this is an awesome addition to his collection of t-shirt designs!

Project Bohna Skully by Blue-Frog World

New platforms are getting created and produced more often now, then ever before. With 3D printing and resin molding becoming more and more popular, it's quite simple to create a model(or have one created) and produce a low quantity of pieces to gauge interest. The latest addition to the ever increasing world of designer toy platforms comes from Blue-Frog World, it's called Bohna Skully. Blue-Frog is teaming up with Toy Chronicle and Toy Con UK to launch this latest platform. Looking quite similar to a modified MAD*L figure, Bohna Skully appears to have no articulation and has a stylized skull as the head piece. Based on some pics online, the overall piece seems to stand at about 4".
To help launch Bohna Skully, Blue-Frog is holding a contest which involves creating a design for the Bohna Skully using a provided template. Submissions for the contest need to be sent to BohnaSkully [at] blue-frog [dot] co [dot] uk. From the submitted designs, 3 designs will be chosen and put to a public vote. Blue-Frog, Toy Chronicle, and Toy Con UK will each choose a design to be voted on by the public. The winning design will be sent a Bohna Skully to customize, which will be displayed at Toy Con UK 2015. So, for all those who are keen, download the template and submit a design before October 10, 2014. No word on how many times a person can submit a design, but there is no theme or design limitations, other than having to create the design in chosen as the winner. In the meantime, check out the hashtag #BohnaSkully on social media to see what artists are coming up with.

The Iron Giant Custom 3" Dunny by Josh Mayhem

Josh Mayhem recently completed a pretty sweet looking Iron Giant custom 3" Dunny. Utilizing a 3" Dunny and some Gundam parts, Josh was able to create The Iron Giant. Introducing more articulation to this piece, than the original 3" Dunny base, this is a great example of outside of the box thinking and creativity. The Dunny head was sculpted on to create the Iron Giant head, while the body was flipped upside down and used as a base to attach other pieces for the torso of The Iron Giant. Josh was also able to use the Dunny arm/hands in the extended Iron Giant arms. Overall, Josh did a great job turning the 3" Dunny into The Iron Giant. While this piece was a private commission, Josh is open for commission work and can be contacted through his FB page or through his website.
