Sometimes you see something that sould be production...Kidrobot wake up!
Mr. Magic is the third and final installment of my Spirit of '84 Kidrobot mascot series that began as an illustration. I find something interesting about the '80s and '90s with this original illustration taking up some of the aesthetics of the time period combined with the contemporary movement(s) in designer toys. The first one I made to help support my Threadless campaign, then the second for "Bits and Pieces" at Lift Designer Toys, and the last for a private collector.
What drew me to the Kidrobot Mascot as a platform was that few artists were taking up this figure for the custom pieces. Like the 6" Fatcap which few artists are working with - I have one planned for Jeff Beck's January show.

Custom Glyos Armorvor by Eric Sorrells |
Eric Sorrells, aka ERSICO, posted earlier via his Facebook page this amazing kitbashed custom Glyos Armorvor figure. Combining this with a Godbeast octopus head and some creatively modified components from other action figures, sculpting and painting brought this beast to life. Eric continues to take the Glyos system to new heights with these customs. You can find additional images of this custom and lots of his other customs at his Facebook page and grab a custom for yourself at his store.

Bad Teeth Comics and sculptor Double Haunt from Brisbane, Australia have teamed up to produce an awesome new Kaiju toy that looks as frightening as it does delicious. The Cheestroyer has been cast in resin, but they are looking for Kickstarter backers to help them get it produced as a vinyl figure.
Your pledge can get you a wide range of products, from comic books and a Kickstarter-exclusive resin micro figure, to finished 4.5" vinyl figures in glow-in-the-dark or crystal clear. Slightly higher pledges can even secure you a hand-painted resin prototype of the mighty Cheestroyer.
There are still 19 days left and they look to be well on their way to getting funded. This is great because there are a number of great-looking stretch goals that could also be unlocked, including an alternate battle-damaged head with every vinyl figure. If you're a fan of offbeat Kaiju and want to support newcomers to the world of sofubi, then look no further than Cheestroyer - and get first dibs on some cool toys!

It’s been a couple of months since the debut of The Disarticulators‘ Oozeball at Superfestival 63, so it comes with great pleasure today to reveal that the general release will finally be happening this Friday!
Designed/sculpted by Zectron and produced in a super-bouncy urethane rubber by Tru:Tek, the hugely popular Madball/Ooze-It send up will be touching down in ’open run’ editions of both “Bootleg Neon” and “OG” vintage green for $25 each, a batch of 10 in “Midnight” black again priced at $25, plus a super-limited run of custom hand rubs - available either on their own at $30, or as a set with the Deathball for $80… but that’s not all!
There will also be a number of unique versions, including one-off, never to be repeated colourways and custom vintage-style hand sprays.
Disarticulators' Oozeball |
These are heading to the Man-E-Toys store this Friday, November 22nd at 9:00pm London time - be sure to get there early to avoid disappointment!
NOTE: Until the kinks are worked out with the fully playable Oozeball (softer rubber, complete with OOZE!), these will remain in the same harder “display only” rubber used in previous releases.

These oversize prints were originally shown at Huck Gee's "11/10" show in November of 2011. They weren't available for sale, being kept part of Huck's personal collection. The detail found in the prints at this size is amazing. Lots of details were previously hidden until viewed at this scale. You will notice several characters from Huck's past Kidrobot Dunny releases.
The prints each measure 6 x 3 feet (72" x 36"). They are huge. This set is a signed edition of 1/1. Printed on canvas and ready for mounting. The prints will ship in a tube, rolled and unframed. It will be the buyers responsibility to get the prints re-stretched.
This set is currently being sold HERE through an eBay auction which began at a single dollar and will end on November 26, 2013 at 12:19AM Pacific time.
